Opening in 1975, they were the very first restaurant to introduce Atlanta to fajitas, and they remained the only place to get the dish for years. Continuing with a rich tradition of excellence, service, and phenomenal food.

Malone’s Steak & Seafood on December 15th, 2025

My friend and I decided to dine at Malone’s Steak & Seafood on Friday, December 15th. It wasn’t my first time here, but it was for my friend, who had eaten here before.

I started with the Stuffed Shrimp appetizer. Gulf shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and baked to perfection. They were delicious, and I really enjoyed them. I also had a margarita, which was strong and refreshing.

For my entrée, I went with the bourbon salmon, served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The salmon was tasty, though I forgot to request that it be cooked a little longer since I prefer my salmon well done. The mashed potatoes were clearly homemade, which I loved, and the green beans were solid, though nothing too exciting.

The ambiance at Malone’s is really nice. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as bar seating, and I believe they even have an upstairs area. It’s a great spot for a casual yet enjoyable meal.

As for service, everything went smoothly. There were two bartenders handling the entire bar, and they worked seamlessly together, making the process of ordering and receiving drinks fast and efficient with minimal wait time.

Overall, I had a great experience, and I’d definitely return. I’ll probably try something different next time, but I was happy with my choices this visit.

Took my mom out to celebrate her birthday. This place didn’t disappoint. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. The food was hot and fresh. I had the calamari and fried chicken sandwich. 10 out of 10.

After a day of shopping in Atlanta, I decided to go out for dinner and wanted to try a local spot. After checking Google, I came across Malone’s, which was only about a five-minute walk from my hotel. I walked over and was greeted by the lovely hosts. I was seated right away and told my server would be with me shortly.

My server, Jermaine, was a very kind and professional gentleman. He asked if I wanted something to drink, and I ordered the Georgia Mule. There was nothing special about it—I tasted more ginger ale than anything else, so the drink was underwhelming.

For my meal, I ordered the pork chops with mashed sweet potatoes and string beans. The pork chops were juicy, tasty, and just a little unsalted , but overall they were excellent. The portion was large enough for me to enjoy over two days. The mashed sweet potatoes were good, but very sweet—almost like they added extra sugar—so that was the only downside of the dish.

I finished with the Oreo white chocolate cheesecake, and it was delicious. A huge slice and definitely worth it.

Overall, would I visit again? Absolutely. The service was great, the food was excellent with generous portions, and even though it was a bit noisy because the game was on and some guests were loud, the experience was still great. I will definitely return.

We went to Malone’s Steak and Seafood restaurant last weekend and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the restaurant was nice and inviting. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. She told us about the specials and what Malone’s popular dishes were. We were a party of seven and she got everything right when our food came to the table.
Their prices are kind of high but not as high as Ruth’s Chris or Morton’s types of restaurant because the sides are included in the meal. I had Shrimp and Grits and the shrimp was cooked to perfection and not hard rubber balls. I’ll go back just for that. I ordered the carrot cheese cake for dessert but I didn’t particularly care for it because the
cake part was dry but as I said before I’ll be back for those shrimp and grits and we will try one of their steaks too

We went here to eat while waiting for the Doubletree check-in computers to come back on-line. Our waiter Ibrahim exceptional. The fried green tomato appetizers were good. We ordered steaks for our main meal which were ok.

Went here for dinner after searching for steak houses. Glad we picked Malone’s because the steaks were great. I had a bourbon brown sugar steak, it’s on the sweet side but oh so good. Wife had the twins, two 4oz filets, both with smashed potatoes and green beans. Both were cook just right (med rare) and seasoned to perfection. If in Atlanta and you like steak, plan to make a visit to Malone’s, you won’t regret it.

The food at Malone’s Bar & Grill was absolutely amazing—everything came out hot and full of flavor. The fried green tomatoes were delish, and the Malone’s Fried Chicken Club was perfectly juicy. The only downside was the noise level; a large crowd beside us made it hard to hear conversation. Still, the service and food made it worth the visit.

This place was so good that I went back the next night to try a different dish. Both were awesome. First the Malone Pasta with shrimp and chicken was fantastic. The next night I had to try the pork chop and was not disappointed. They were cooked perfectly an served hot. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to ATL.

Ate lunch here on a Saturday. Our server was Lin. She was great! Good customer service and attentive. I ordered a Bob Marley. I didn’t like it, so I ordered a Rum Punch. It was good. I had stuffed shrimp/crab appetizer and the turkey club with garlic fries. The restaurant was clean. Parking was free and there were plenty of spaces.
