Finally a beautiful local for lunch with my BFF’s. Try everything and be sure to leave room for cake!!’ Go ahead and bring some well deserved treats home, from cookies to pies, you just can’t go wrong with any delicious decision you make. We will be back. Take your time as you meander through the lovely gift shop and boutique. Both of which offer so many gift ideas to share with those you care the most for.

One of those hidden gems of Brooksville. We typically work until 3, so we don’t get to enjoy it that often.
Had three adults in our party, arrived at 1pm. Waited about ten minutes, that’s fine it gave us a chance to walk around and look at all the items).
Each person ordered something different and there was 0 complaints.
Loaded baked potato soup.
Meatloaf special.
Cobb salad.
Crunchy Roast beef.
Delicious and we just about liked our plates.
All tables were full, but the waitresses moved fast.
Will come back again for sure whenever I can have it on my schedule. Did not have a chance to have any dessert this trip, too full. Previously I’ve had their peanut butter pie and it was amazing. I need to remember to order a cake or like for our next family dinner.

**Update** Great experience at Mallie Kylas Cafe, we were greeted as soon as we got inside, we were taken to the dining area and what a cozy, home looking sight, clean, beautiful, the staff was awesome, the food was on point, we had soups and had food and dessert to go, the corn chowder soup was amazing, has a little heat, great taste. I had the stuffed avocado with tuna salad and pasta salad and I got to say I’m hooked, such great flavor, smooth, clean, the tuna salad was truly on point, one of the best I’ve ever had same goes for the pasta salad, such balanced flavors and all because it tastes homemade and fresh, also we got the Carolina Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious, it comes on raisin bread and believe me it sounds different but it works and finally for dessert we had banana cream pie, they put actual slices of banana in the pie, the cream is delicious, smooth, silky and creamy. Definitely we will come back when we are in the area, I can’t wait to have more of that stuffed avocado. We went there again to dine in this time and I am happy to report that it is amazing service paired with amazing food that feels like came straight from your grandma’s kitchen. We had the ham and cheese quiche and the amazing stuffed avocado with tuna salad which in my opinion is one of the best dishes I’ve had. We also indulged with some of the desserts, the cookies were on point, rich but not crazy sweet, right on the money; the hummingbird cake is straight up the best I’ve had so far, made with banana cake with that awesome delicious filling and the apple crumble pie was to die for, warm and delicious, pairs well with ice cream.

Was here for lunch a few weeks ago while visiting Florida. I had the swiss potato soup, the Meridian Club, and a cream cheese brownie. Everything was delicious, and I loved the gift shop too. Would definitely go back.

We share a cup of Swiss potato soup, country cabbage soup, and chicken pot pie. My husband said that he could have easily had another.
We had a young server who could use training, she could do better.

My friend and I went to Mallies Cafe for a late lunch. Upon entering, we were greeted by extremely friendly associates, and beautiful flowers knickknacks a huge gift shop to the left, the right is where we went to sit to eat. There is a flower refrigerator filled with beautiful flower arrangements. Everything here is homemade from scratch. Our meals are very inexpensive, but they were extremely delicious. A wide variety of different salads, vegan friendly, vegetarian, friendly, as well as meat dishes available. I have to say that the potato Swiss cheese soup was absolutely phenomenal!
After we had our lunch, we had dessert. One was an oatmeal pie and the other was a cream cheese brownie. Both were absolutely delicious! After lunch, we went to the gift shop and was completely floored by how they had everything you can think of. There were children’s clothing, children’s toys, books, stuffed animals. There was adult clothing available, made from very high quality materials. There was jewelry galore! Someone was always around to help you, make suggestions. They also have shoes, artificial flowers, as well as the real flower displays. Fine China dishes, collector editions and more. Prices are very high on everything in the gift shop. Over all, we were highly satisfied with Mallies. The owner came out to speak to us as well. Highly recommend for a wonderful girls day out location.

The cafe is located inside an older home, with three stores connected to it, two shops, and a boutique.
The prices are more than fair and just the right amount of food.
I had ordered the crusty roast beef with au jus and pasta salad. The pasta salad was warm, which I think secretly is my new way of liking pasta salad. They also make their own mustard, which is sweet to taste, hearty, and can probably be eaten by itself. The mustard is also available to buy by the 1/2 pint or pint.
10/10 recommend and will be back!
