Is it ok to close the windows/close up shop right after I order my meal and be left wondering what the cook is doing back there with my food? I know I arrived 13 min before close… but still, my husband orders our food, we’re met with an annoyedddd attitude by the guy- I get it. It’s almost closing and he probably just wants to close and leave. But this is your job…. Why be mad I want food at 9:45pm when your job is to make/serve food until 10? Anyways, we quickly give him the order and he hands us a buzzer. We barely walk away as my husband is putting his card back, when the employee exits the food truck and immediately shuts the service windows as to not take anymore orders. Ok. ‘NO ONE ALLOWED’ vibes. You’re not even closed yet though… and still have a couple waiting for their food who can’t see who-knows-what you might be doing to our food in there bc your so mad we ordered/you gotta make food at this time. ?? Idk, from beginning to end the experience just gave “what do you want? Hurry up, now gtfo.”
As we were waiting right in front of the cart, almost 12 min later the buzzer rang, he opened the cart entrance, we got our food and left. And the employees obvious last duty was only to hand us our food bc he handed it over, locked the door behind him, and walked straight to the bar bars not going anywhere, buddy. In comparison, the truck across was still open and operating even at 10:03. Love the food here- we frequent the location on San Pedro. First time at this location, was surprised to find one so much closer to our house. But the experience was very disappointing

Read this first…this is a food truck in the back of another restaurant called Screaming Chameleon. There are multiple food trucks and plenty of parking spaces. There are also plenty of seating as well. You get your food from the food trucks then you can get drinks inside of Screaming Chameleons restaurant. I had a bacon ranch cheesesteak
Made with ribeye steak. The cheesesteaks were amazing. The bun was soft, the cheese was warm goey, the seasoning was perfect and the bacon was salty and plentiful. The best cheesesteak I have ever had….and I just came from a family gathering in Philly and I had cheesesteaks, but this is one of my favorite places.

First time here, and we got the Southwest Philly Cheesesteak. It was fully loaded and very tasty. The fries were yummy. Will come back to try other items on the menu! Great people and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend

Heard Malik’s was moving next month (from the O’Connor location) and they have been on my list to try for a loooonnggg time, so we decided to stop by.
It was a little pricier than I anticipated buuutttt I have never had a cheesesteak taste SO damn good!!
We got the large Phlaming Philly, large Elder Eats Cheesesteak, and the Cheesy Bacon Ranch Phries totaling $48.10 before tip. I included the menu/receipt so you can see all what was on it. I definitely gotta give them a 10/10!!
These philly’s were so tender and juicy! I definitely like cheese so the Elder Eats was perfect but because it was SO filling I could only eat half !
