Absolutely shocking!!!!!! 2 hours 45 minutes for our food to be delivered. I was lied to 3 times on the phone. Give us 15/20 mins, 1 hour later, I was told 15 mins, 35 mins later told just left 2/3 minutes ago but there are 3 deliveries so could be another 10 minutes. But don’t worry, they’ve sent me a couple of drinks as an apology.
Not the first time we have experienced problems with deliveries but this is disgusting service.
Why continue to take orders if you are already oversubscribed. If I hadn’t been lied to at 8:30 we would have just cancelled and ordered something else.
The food arrives, warm, not hot!
Oh and the two drinks have crushed the popadoms so we were delivered crumbs.

We often try different Indian restaurants as it’s a favourite of ours. We enjoyed some papadoms and dips to start with a few drinks and asked to take our time ordering our mains. We ordered lamb and stuffed calamari with rice and naan. The flavour was unbelievable. Probably one of the best meals we have had in years. The seafood was freshly prepared the flavours were delightful and the lamb was tender and fall apart in your mouth. We had a few drinks in other bars before coming here and everyone recommended Malik’s, so we had to try it and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be returning… hopefully the Crab will be available on the menu next time

After a year or more of hoping to see an improvement after constructive feedback, I have to say I am so disappointed with the quality of the food. Initially was Marlow branch and recently Cookham too. Firstly it was poor seasoning and questionable flavour. Then meat was compromised in quality. Lastly the one we had yesterday was dry old chicken tossed into a fresh sauce. Unacceptable for what is supposed to be high end Indian take away. Have fed back and been patient but it now far beyond that. All the free or replaced meals would not suffice.

We went to Maliks tonight to celebrate my husband’s birthday and honestly couldn’t have picked a better spot! The food was excellent, every dish was full of flavour and beautifully cooked. The service was simply wonderful too. Everyone was so friendly and made the night feel really special. We left absolutely stuffed and smiling. Can’t wait to go back!

Leaving 2 parts to this review. One for eating in and one for takeaway with the latter not being representative of eating in experience. Food was excellent when we have eaten in the restaurant.
Takeaway on the other hand has been bland and very average. It seems the takeaway is just not prepared the same way in terms of flavour. Others have told me the same about the takeaway.
Would recommend eating in but no the takeaway.

We have been to both Malik’s locations and have been going for years. Every time the food has been amazing, and the staff always seem very happy and friendly.
The new manager Naz at the Marlow site was really friendly and funny.
Malik’s is great is you want a more luxurious curry with a nice atmosphere.
