Talk about delicious! I brought my mom here so we could try some dishes together, as we both love Thai food. She started with the Thai coffee, which was her first time trying it. And she really loved it. For starters, we got the veggie spring rolls and the shumai, which is one of my favorites. She isn’t a shrimp person, so I ate all of those, and they were delicious. She and I both enjoyed the spring rolls. For entrées, I got a classic Pad Thai with shrimp, and my mom got the red curry because she had never tried it before. Both dishes were delicious and highly recommended. I’m not a huge fan of coconut milk in dishes, but it was so good after a few bites. My pad Thai was perfect, and the shrimp was delicious with it. Since we were in the mood, we decided on a dessert and went with the Pa Tong Ko, an incredible fried dough that comes with condensed milk for dipping. Overall, this place is now one of my top Thai restaurants. I will definitely be back here again.

Mali Thai Kitchen in Jacksonville, FL was a tasty little surprise!

The ambience was pretty okay, nothing fancy or over the top, but comfortable enough to enjoy your meal. The food, though… that’s where they shine! Everything we tried was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.

My wife ordered the miso soup, Pad Thai, and a Thai tea, and she absolutely loved all of it. She was smiling the whole time — that’s how you know it’s good Her Pad Thai was saucy, balanced, and full of flavor.

I went with the Pad Kana Moo Krob, which is Thai-style fried pork belly with Thai broccoli, and wow… it was super delicious! Crispy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. Total winner for me.

The prices were right where you’d expect for good Thai food, and overall, it was a great experience. We’d definitely eat there again for sure! ️

I am so happy I finally got to try Mali Thai because it was phenomenal! In addition to the cool ambiance and wonderful service, the flavors are authentically Thai and delicious! We had spring rolls and panko shrimp for starters along with the Wings Zabb and every bite was bursting with texture and flavor! We sipped on a creamy Thai tea and Thai energy drinks while savoring rich Panang curry with shrimp and chicken and the deeply satisfying Krapao Neau Toon & Kai Dao which was savory with a kick of heat!
Each dish was so delectable that we couldn’t stop talking about visiting again soon. This is definitely one to try and soon!!!

My husband and I tried Mali Thai Kitchen for the first time today and we loved everything about it!! The food tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, and the service was friendly from start to finish.

We started with the Wings Zabb while deciding what to order, and they were a great appetizer. crispy, flavorful, and coated in a sweet-spicy Thai chili garlic sauce. Highly recommend starting with these!

For entrees, we ordered the Tom Ka Soup and the Panang Curry with shrimp, along with Thai iced tea. The Tom Ka was creamy, comforting, and perfectly balanced with coconut, mushrooms, and just a touch of spice. The Panang Curry was the star of the visit. rich, bold, beautifully presented, and the shrimp were fresh and well-cooked. Portions were generous, and the jasmine rice on the side paired perfectly.

The Thai iced tea was delicious and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Everything tasted freshly prepared and thoughtfully seasoned.

The decor is beautiful, cozy, and clean, with warm colors and a stylish aesthetic that makes it a great place to sit down and enjoy your meal. It feels inviting and well-designed.

Overall, this spot feels like a gem w great food, great service, and fair prices. We’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Highly recommend the Panang Curry, Tom Ka Soup, and Wings Zabb.

Grade A DELICIOUS! I am notorious for not liking thai, and yet I am consistently surprised (I think I just don’t like peanuts atp). I ordered some braised beef dish from the street food side of the menu, and it was perfect! Savory, fork tender, delicious vegetables, and perfect amount of spice. I will say, the egg was a little under seasoned, but delicious nonetheless. And the dessert was PHENOMENAL. Crispy and soft, and the sauces complement it perfectly. My only critique would be to add some powdered sugar. Overall, excellent dinner, and maybe I’ve judged Thai food a little too harshly. I will return, hungry for more.

Great place! I stopped in after some exercise before work and was warmly greeted and seated by Tak. The atmosphere is small, comfortable, and inviting, with cool history displayed on the walls.

The menu is simple but full of great options. I was comped a Thai tea made with coconut milk and honey—refreshing and a steal at $3. The gyoza were crispy, hot, and delicious. I ordered the Pad See Ew with shrimp (mild heat), and it was one of the best Thai entrées I’ve had. Seven shrimp for $3 was a home run.

Tak provided excellent service with great recommendations and attentive check-ins. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Mali Thai Street Food is hands down one of the best hidden gems in Jacksonville! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. Our server, Chalisa, was incredibly kind and attentive, and owner Chalida puts so much heart into every single dish—you can truly taste the love.

We tried the Tom Ka Soup, which was rich, tangy, and comforting, and the Vegetable Spring Rolls that were light and crisp. The Basil Fried Rice was packed with flavor and the perfect amount of spice. But the stars of the night were the Khao Sot—a Northern Thai classic with tender chicken in coconut curry broth topped with crispy noodles—and the Krapao Neau Toon with Kai Dao, a savory braised beef dish topped with a fried egg. Absolutely delicious!

The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made, the ambience was relaxed, and the service made us feel right at home. Chalida and her team have created something truly special here. I can honestly say this is the best Thai food I’ve had in Jacksonville, and I can’t wait to come back!

We tried out another restaurant from my list. I saw it posted on TikTok and just had to add it.
We love Thai food so I was excited to try a new place. We arrived there shortly after it opened. We were greeted by Chalisa, who was so friendly and welcoming. There wasn’t a wait. Chalisa answered all the many questions that we had and gave a few suggestions as to what we should try.
For appetizers, we ordered the Thai fries, the Laab Peek Gai (wings) and a bottle of Lychee Nigori. All items were quite tasty. The sake complimented the appetizers quite well. For our main entrees, we chose Shrimp Pad Woonsen (spicy level 3) and Green Curry with Shrimp (spicy level 4). Both dishes were flavorful with the perfect amount of spiciness. We couldn’t leave without trying a dessert. We had the Pa Tong Ko (looked like cute little N shaped donuts) with two dips ( sweetie dip & Thai tea flavored sweetie dip). A simple dish but very yummy. I made a to-go order for Shrimp Green Curry but this time I ordered it level 5. Decided to eat that at home and not shame myself in public if I couldn’t handle the heat. LOL.
Great place. Now I have two awesome Thai places to enjoy. If you get a chance and you are Thai food lover or just want to experience something new, give them a try.

If you are looking for authentic Thai flavors this restaurant is for you! Very fragrant and flavorful. The food is delicious. I ordered pad ka prow. It was delicious! I did carry out for lunch. And the only thing that I would say is the portion was not worth the price. The taste definitely was!
