Got here 1 hr before kitchen was to close on New Years Eve. Food came out pretty quickly ,it was hot ,(came out sizzling)tasted pretty good. The portion was large didnt eat it all so took it home. Price was pretty reasonable .Drinks was cold, tasted fine. Nice atmosphere. Clean. There was a few people there, even though it was late.Server was friendly and nice. Felt a little rushed though ,but not their fault we did come in at the last minute ,you know when you want that late night bite to eat.,but they served us with a smile. Very pleasant. I would definately go back there again, but earlier this time.

The whole experience was great , my street tacos and my wife’s were absolutely delicious, the presentation was very nice, displaying 5 tacos and your salsa to put on your tacos and the service from our waitress was excellent. She was on top of it. We were looking for a place to go for Taco Tuesday, and I believe we made the right decision. Will be going back to try other dishes that we saw on there menu that looked very apatizing.

After seeing the menu online my coworker and I decided to come here. Inside is decorated nicely and on theme. There’s a huge bar that almost wraps the building. We were seated quickly and then chips, salsa and refried beans were set on the table. The beans should have been put in a bowl not a plate. The beans weren’t hot. We ordered drinks and I got a mojito. It was good I just wish they kept the mint more whole instead of chopped. The food came out lightening fast. We believe items maybe precooked and assembled. The meat on my tacos were kinda dry but marinated. My coworker got a burrito and we both agreed 7/10 for the experience.

I had my birthday here. Simply incredible. The staff is so friendly that you feel at home, the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. The food is amazing, authentic, flavorful and so beautifully prepared. Every guest at my table was blown away and it really made my celebration extra special. I can not say enough good things about this restaurant, or recommend it enough. Best Mexican food in town, and you feel like you are home from the second you walk in the door.

Don Juan’s is hands-down one of the best Mexican spots around! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served in big portions (don’t skip the guac or margaritas—they’re amazing). The staff is super friendly and make you feel right at home. Great vibes, great food, and definitely my new go-to for Mexican!

Great service and a lovely atmosphere. I’ve been here twice and both times there were staff members singing along with the music, laughing with each other and everyone was very pleasant.
The food is pretty standard Mexican fare with a huge menu and food coming out quickly in satisfying, but not overwhelming portions. Dishes would benefit from a few more fresh items on the plate to compliment and sour cream and guac are extras on the menu for quite a few dishes, not included like some other spots. The chips and salsa come with a bean dip that’s quite tasty too. I found the price to be reasonable for the experience.
Our servers were friendly but not especially attentive. Refills and the check were both a bit difficult to track down toward the end of the meal.
Still a very good experience!

Don Juan’s is the best spot! The food is always delicious, portions are huge, and the prices can’t be beat. You definitely get more than your money’s worth here. On top of that, the staff is awesome and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. My go-to for great Mexican food now.

I ordered lunch delivery from grubhub. Steak quesadilla and black bean soup. The black bean soup looks like something from the sink trap and tastes like a plain can of beans in hot water. I was expecting something less gray and more hearty/wholesome.
The quesadilla was “meh” and the steak did not taste fresh and had that “old” beef flavor. Like the package of beef was kept too long before cooking.
The salsa tastes like watery marinara sauce.
Chips were not bad.
I may or may not be regretting eating the one out of 3 quesadilla slices within 24 hours.

So overall I really did enjoy the time we spent there. For apps we tried the elote and queso dip. But before we could even order they bring out chips salsa and almost like a beans dip .. all excellent. You know how this fat boy is, and I LOVE Mexican food any day of the week. I had to order. A Tropirita which was a tropical cocktail with a coronita in it upside down — if you been to Dallas BBQ think a drink like that!!
I will definitely go back to try some other things. We had the Don Juan Chimichanga and the red snapper. Both were delicious. Chimis were served with rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guac. Red snapper came with rice and beans and was fried to perfection!!
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was excellent. Very authentic and I enjoyed speaking Spanish with the wait staff!!
Don’t wait and don’t hesitate.. take a drive out to Latham and try Doj Juan’s.
Tell em Vin Vin sent you, I’m trying to see something!!
Until next time, deuces,

This place is definitely descent and had great service. I would say if the pricing was more fair I would be back. Unfortunately this was expensive Mexican food and only descent tasting. For that reason I would say venture elsewhere for your south of the border desires. There’s just too much food Mexican around that is a fair price.
