Amazing food, service, and prices. Honestly, I’ve been slowing down on reviews because of all this dissatisfaction I’ve experienced with other restaurants lately. This place really knocked my socks off. Roast beef dinner, comes with a super beef, a side salad, and fries (they throw in a healthy portion of dressing and pita bread). Get mayo, American cheese, and horseradish on the super beef, you will love it. Great customer service. Had to call after placing an online order and they were very accommodating and generous. Like I said, in a sea of decreasing standards and cutting corners, Mak’s stands out. 10/10

Me and my fiance shared a Roast Beef Sandwich and a Pastrami sandwich, both were delicious. They serve it with a yummy soft onion roll if I am not mistaken. Also we tried the chicken and noodle soup and also was to die for. Will definitely come back.

Doesn’t look much from the road. But those can be the best places…. one thing that the Boston area is known for is roast beef. Which is a roast beef sandwich on a deli roll.
I ended up ordering super roast beef. Largest of the sandwich sizes… I got the works on it. Onions, peppers. Mushrooms. Another strange example of a restaurant in Norwood that is separate from the rest of the chain – but another exemplar of good food. Bought the Super Beef as it comes, and it’s a fantastic example of roast beef. Rich, soft, melts in your mouth meat, on a nice warm bun. Warning you right now that unless you are starving or planning on sharing – the super beef dinner is a lot of food!! Partner, 6’5″, having eaten nothing all day, ate the sandwich and half of the fries and was completely full. An absolutely excellent value.

Every time we’ve been here before this most recent visit, everything has always been great. The other night, however, we received burnt rolls (not toasted), but burnt, which totally ruined the sandwiches. When we called to tell them about it, we were told we’d receive a call back, and things would be made right. Never received the call. We called again, and were met with a woman who had an attitude, as if we were the ones who burnt the rolls. I think the picture speaks for itself… will not be going back here after the customer service we received while trying to rectify the problem.

Are you kidding me?? This place is awesome. Exactly what you want and just a little side diner. That makes great food. We love this place! Pastrami is excellent. Calzone is out of this world.
