Just had an amazing experience at this sushi spot and had to share. The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best sushi I’ve had in a while. Every roll was flavorful and perfectly balanced you can tell they really care about quality and detail in the kitchen.
What made the experience even better was the service. Our waitress, Trinity, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything came out perfectly. She gave great recommendations and checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive.
Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. If you’re looking for a sushi place that delivers both quality and hospitality, this one is definitely worth visiting.

Our wait was 25 min which is good and bad because at least we know the place is popular. The food was really good too. I got the General Tso chicken and it was my first time here. I just started liking General Tso chicken and this is the best I’ve had so far. Our server Valerie was really nice too. Atmosphere was nice, although they should play Japanese music to keep up with the theme lol. Overall my husband and I will definitely be back!

Maks made our Galentine’s girls lunch extra special. Taylor, our server was super attentive and knew how to describe every sushi roll beautifully. I have been coming here for years for not only dinners with my husband, but I also always bring friends and family visiting town here or lunch meetings! It’s an amazing place for either lunch or dinner. And I am totally convinced and after trying multiple other sushi restaurants, Maks is truly the best sushi restaurants in Lee and Collier County.

Maks was fantastic! The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Every piece of sushi was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. A real standout was the special lobster sushi roll it was rich, perfectly balanced, and unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere. Definitely a must-try! I’ll be coming back again soon and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for top-quality sushi and excellent service.

Our family loves to come to MAKS. The service is always incredible and the food is consistantly outstanding. We order a combination of sushi for the table and also get some kitchen items (General Tao’s or Fried Rice) as well. Everything is delicious. MAKS also has the best smelling bathroom hand soap – smells like a spa in there!

Went for dinner in Saturday 2/282026, and despite not having a reservation, we were seated fairly quickly. Our sever was very attentive and answered any questions we had about the menu, despite it being a busy Saturday night. The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered General Taos Tofu. I’m not a big Tofu eater, but again, perfect. Crispy on the outside, light and puffy on the inside is the only way to describe it. Great sushi. Absolutely a must if your looking for a place in Fort Myers to eat. Great for Vegans, vegetarians, and those who consume meat and seafood. Go, you won’t be sorry. I would have included photos, but we were too busy eating this amazing food.

This was our second time actually coming to maks. The first we weren’t too sold on what they had on the menu so we got a couple drinks and left. This time around we wanted to give it another shot instead of going to our regular sushi spot. And we were blown away. The restaurant was quite busy, yet we were sat, given drinks and our appetizer fairly quickly. The staff were friendly and our waitress was super attentive. It also helped that our rolls were a 10/10. We got the Rudy and aloha rolls. But we will definitely be coming back to try more.

The food was incredible. We shared a mix of rolls, including the Crunchy Tiger, Volcano, Green Devil, Lobster, and Firecracker, plus the Creamy Popcorn Shrimp and the Crispy Bluefin Tuna Rice. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The Spicy Garlic Edamame was insanely good!
