I’ve actually only ever eaten Indian food that was homemade by friends or their mommas, lol. And I of course fell in love with it! lol. So I’ve really been wanting to try the food at an Indian restaurant and had the opportunity to go with some friends/church sisters, and I was not disappointed!
I had the Chicken Curry and Chai Tea. I love Chai Tea and there’s was the usual sweet creaminess you expect with Chai Tea. The Chicken Curry had the perfect amount of spicy kick to it that you’d expect in a curry dish. Yumm! And every order, each person automatically gets a big dish of some yummy, lightly seasoned, white rice too!
We all 4 each got a different flavor of the Naan bread so that we’d all be able to share and get to sample every flavor they had. Cheese Naan, wow! I had never heard of that before, Idk if it even necessarily traditional Indian style of making the Naan, but Yumm..
There was a Chilé Naan and Yumm again! Garlic Naan, Yummm, the more plain Butter Naan, just classic and traditional but always good too!
The owner was our server and he was great! Very friendly and kind. Treated us women of color just so extra special like we were VIP’s or something! It was Refreshing to be treated like that at a restaurant here in small town USA.
It doesn’t happen like that ever! Wow!
I will be back with my husband next time as he’s never tried Indian food but he’s looking forward to it!
I highly recommend this place y’all!
