This was me and my sister’s first time dining at Mako’s. The restaurant is super cute. It has a sophisticated but casual atmosphere. Everything was great from the service, to the drinks and the food. The restaurant was clean as well as the restroom. Our server was super sweet, although I forgot her name. She was a lovely blonde woman with glasses. She was helpful and attentive.
I highly recommend this for a date or group outing.

Went for a Valentine’s Day date. Had a reservation for 5:15 pm started with a Paloma and a Rita to drink both delicious and refreshing. The octopus is to die for the best ice had in a long time. The jerk chicken was good not as spicy as I expected or wanted it to be. (Steak eaters beware- I asked for a ribeye medium rare. It was borderline blue rare. Not even warm. I figured it’s hard for restaurants to make them at a specific temperature however this steak was undercooked) the steak was bland as well wouldn’t order it again however I will 100% be back for the octopus and the baklava desert. 8.2/10

Mako’s is a hidden Gem tucked away amongst a canopy of Oak trees! We had mussels, Jerk Chicken, Salmon & a burger. All exceeding our expectations Fine Dining in Schertz TX!! Our server, Ariasza was very professional & checked in on us in perfect timing! We will definitely be dining at Mako’s on the Creek again!

We really enjoyed our meal at Mako’s. The steak was cooked to perfection and the best I had so far living here in Texas. The appetizer fries are great as well and my husband enjoyed his chicken.
Coming from Germany, I really enjoyed the slower pace and not feeling like I’m rushed out of the restaurant. It was good to sit there and have a great conversation with the family while waiting for our delicious food. Compliments to the chef!

Set back off the main highway, a quiet place to just enjoy.
We went for drinks and loved everything about the establishment. Sadly we did not have dinner there, but if the aromas were any indicator… oh yeah baby. Family owned with an upscale look and feel, you will not be disappointed.

We had our dogs and baby with us in the evening after a nearby hike and found this dog-friendly restaurant! They gave us the entire patio to ourselves and water bowls for the dogs and the ambiance was amazingggg with all the lights and the table cloth, it really is an “upscale casual” place. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, and two entres and we concluded that the quality was very great, but the quantity was not. However, the service was very good and even comped one of the entres when there was a problem with it. Overall, we had a great time with great service!

We celebrated my friends surprise 70th birthday party at Makos on the Creek and it was indeed, a class act event. From the food, our servers, the bartender, the chef and kitchen staff, we couldn’t have image what an absolute delightful experience we would have. Our party was the day of the “big freeze,” January 24th, but the Makos staff didn’t miss a beat. Our servers Anne and Kim were wonderful and made sure each guest felt welcomed and they exceeded all expectations on a day we thought things would be rushed due to the impending bad weather. Their professionalism and genuine caring were apparent in their stellar service for our youngest baby to the guest of honor. They welcomed us like family with the owner checking in to make sure we felt special for this milestone event. The staff even played apart in helping to pull off the “surprise,” which turned out to be so heartwarming. By the way, everything on the buffet line was delicious; the cilantro lime rice, green beans and fries (appetizer) were our favorites. Thank you Makos! We’ll be back!!!
