We stopped by Coyo Taco in Coral Gables close to closing time and were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and efficient the staff remained. Even with the day winding down, the energy was upbeat and the food was fresh and flavorful.
We took advantage of their Taco Tuesday two-for-one special, which felt like a delicious steal. The real star of the night? The Al Pastor tacos—hands down the greatest. Perfectly seasoned pork, juicy pineapple, and that signature street-style flair made each bite unforgettable. They were so good, we almost ordered another round just to keep the magic going.
Whether you’re winding down your day or kicking off a night out, Coyo Taco delivers bold flavors and a laid-back vibe that hits the spot. We’ll definitely be back for more taco love.
Note to management, we also walked right by because staff looked apprehensively at us so we thought it was closed. Recommend some customer service training. A welcoming big smile would have changed everything.

First time at this Coyo location and it’s by far one of the best! I had the grouper, which was perfectly crispy, and a sweet but perfectly balanced Mango Mojito. Claudio even gave my friends and me a free shot and delivered truly 5-star service. Highly recommend!

This place has to be one of the best taco spots scattered throughout Miami. I am a regular here and everytime I come here the staff are friendly, the food is hot and tasty and not to mention their happy hour rocks. I definitely recommend having the Birria tacos. Joel is so kind and pays close attention to each and every order. I love coyo taco ❤️

The beef birria was really, really delicious and my favorite of everything we tried. Food came out pretty quickly and very hot. Visited at the end of the night, so it was pretty empty.

Chips tasted like they were fried in a VERY OLD oil, tacos had a weird smell to it, the veggie tacos were good. Variety of sauces to dip your food in. There’s not really service here the employee just run the food to your table. The table tops were sticky. Through out my conversation with the employee ordering food, she didn’t smile once.

Andrea was the sweetest cashier ever. The tacos and burritos were so well done that I almost felt like I was having the authentic food that my grandmother would make me. Jose was so helpful and is such an amazing cook. Such a warm place to enjoy an amazing meal. Love coyo taco!

It’s good but could be better. Food wise, feels like they’re skimping on the filling. Service wise, each employee behaves like they don’t want to be there. Atmosphere wise, the tables & seats need to be cleaned to where they’re not just free of debris but also not sticky.
I’m in the area quite often but I won’t return in a hurry to this spot.
