Was in town for a meeting and man how has nac changed. The staples I used to go to are gone but there are some great places that turned up in their absence. Mac’s is one of them.

From outside, we initially though that the restaurant was definitely closed. But we you finally understand where is the entrance, the room is nice, type sport bar/restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was efficient. Great draft beers.

The hidden gem is well worth the stop. From its rustic outside to delicious servings heavily portioned servings this place is fantastic. The food looks almost as good as it tastes. Taylor was our waitress/ hostess pulling double duty but never missed a beat.

Maks is always a good choice for bar food options such as hot wings, burgers, fries that sort of thing. The Mac and Cheese ball are to die for absolutely good .. me and my friend Really enjoyed it . Good decent drinks not a bad spot for friends.

This was a stop we took for two nights in a row on a trip to Nac. We stayed in a nearby Air BnB and it was in the recommendation booklet. Glad we tried it because we liked it so much the first night that we came back again for the second night of our stay. Great food choices, all affordable. The service is good, though not as fast as I might like, mostly because they get pretty busy. The atmosphere itself is also entertaining. Girls sports were on the tvs in June and the walls had a bunch of random stuff to look at.

I had 2 tacos, chicken tinga and fried avocado. They were both delicious with lots of flavor. Hubby had the steak salad and he said he would give it 9 just because they didn’t put on the cheese. The steak was very tender! We both had a beer which wasn’t easy to pick since there was lots of choices. We will be back!

Food and service were fantastic. We loved the mac balls which are fried balls of mac & cheese. They also a very different selection of tap beers that I have not seen anywhere else. A great place to go when you are in Nacogdoches.

The food is very good! The environment is way to loud. The owner should look at capitalizing on their food. In an environment that is less like a “bar” the food itself is worth the visit. The food outweighed the loud environment. But that won’t work for long. A friend mentioned to me the same thing they thought the food excellent but the environment unsettling.

Super awesome place. Looks closed when you pull up, but it’s not! Great food and drinks we good too. Place remained packed the entire time we were there. Love to see local small business staying busy!

Very popular bar and grill. Restaurant was clean in a good order. Parking is ample but rather tight for larger pickups. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Food selection was good for a bar and grill. Recommend.
