Been coming here as my personal Favorite ramen restaurant for about 4 years now. I have to say with the level of quality, taste, and service all are amazing. The wait is always worth it. The sushi is fresh and I’d recommend any of the tuna, while I don’t like salmon, it’s still fresh and tasty. They’re very kind about mistakes and are quick to fix any issues. The volcano base with the spicy pork belly is my go-to, but all the options are great. The rotating appetizers are always fun to experiment with but the karaage is my favorite! The desserts are hit or miss but I’d definitely recommend the ramen, bowls, udon, and appetizers! I hope to see this business grow in time. Bark!~

I loved this place and recommend it to anyone even if you’re trying sushi for the first time!! The service was outstanding and timely. My friend did enjoy the vegetarian options as well. The restaurant is very small and doesn’t take reservations so get there early because there’s wait times! My friends and I loved it and can’t wait to go back.

Walked in over an hour wait, they called me and were supper polite.

Sat down and table was ready with water.

Wait staff took our family order and the place was packed, happy people all eating and enjoying.

45 plus later:

Line almost out the door of people wanting tables.

Rude staffer with an iPad comes up.

So we are closing, you going to finally order something or free up the table.

My lady and kid are shocked!

Me, hi, we waited the hour plus for our table, waited to 20 min to go order and over 45 minutes, three families have come and gone next to us.

They tried to put our Oder in and asked my lady if we wanted all the items cause the chef is closing soon again.

Now mid you there is still a line out the door to get a table @ 920 ish pm

I called it, we are out.

Manager dude comes over offering a free meal, stating pick something off the menu, we aren’t going to charge you.

Bro, we ordered sushi three rolls , app rolls, udon, and a pork ramen.

I called it, told them, NO we are out. Peace. See you in 6 months at best.

Moral of the story, don’t, that all.

Food was not hot, but was warm and tasted good. Only 11 or 12 tables and a very popular place.

The food was delicious, especially the bulgogi steak buns they’re a must-try. I didn’t get a photo, though. You place your order on your phone, and the service is impressively quick. Most entrees come with a salad and miso soup. The atmosphere is enjoyable, and the service is excellent.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Rockville area. I have been eating here since before the pandemic COVID era. There is only one guy working as a waiter there. Don’t be fooled, he’s the best sushi chef I know. He’s sushi creation is out of this world. I believe he rotates working as a waiter and sushi chef. If you catch him on a night you happen to eat that night, try his sushi. I highly recommended. The service is top notch by the great service. This is a place to be on the weekends.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s a very busy little place but they run it very fast and efficiently. They even apologized in advance for how long it was going to take and it still came out fast. We ordered multiple things and all of them were amazing. The spicy pork belly ramen was outstanding and the crispy shrimp shumai was great too.

Very cozy nice restaurant. We went on a Friday night so expect some sort of wait (it wasn’t too bad). The ramen was amazing and there were so many choses to mix and match broth and topping choices. The sushi was great too and the buns were very tasty. There’s a lot of other great appetizer options. The food came out quick and the portions were just right. The ramen in particular was very unique and our choice of meat for the ramen came on the side which I had never seen before but I enjoyed. I can’t wait to be back!

Way better than I expected!
The hamachi nigiri was fresh, rice to fish ratio was good, and the cut of fish was sizable. I ordered the Kakuni Belly Ramen with Spicy Miso broth was great. The noodles were the perfect texture and the pork belly had a good meat to fat ratio. My partner got the Tonkatsu Ramen with Tonkotsu broth which was excellent. The noodles in this bowl was thinner and still had the perfect texture and the tonkatsu was crispy and not dry.
Seating fills up quickly so make sure to plan accordingly when you arrive and possibly expect to have to wait if need be. The service is a little confusing since they give you both options of ordering online or with a staff member. I think establishing one or the other would be better. Nonetheless the food was really good. I recommend!
