My family of 5 stopped here for dinner after driving in from Toledo, OH. Blown away by food, service, and just overall friendliness of not only the staff but the regular patrons. Had a cheese steak and it was great. Stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

The dinner special is totally worth it. It includes soup, salad, drink and dessert, all with the price of the entree. Ranging from 20$ to 25$. I had clams with pasta, I highly recommend it.

Definitely no frills diner with a bar from a bygone era but we didn’t let that deter us because some of those places are gems! But the food was just ok, nothing too fantastic. There was an issue with my order and the waitperson took more time to argue with me instead of making it right. I felt guilted into keeping what I didn’t order but then she came back and said she would get what I wanted. The icing on the cake was when it showed up, there was a large black hair in the middle of the plate! I couldn’t believe it! There was no gluten free bread or plant based options so on top of the weird service, we probably won’t go back.

was early to a concert at the oval, came across this place and stopped in for a bite and I’m so glad we did! we got a chicken parm sandwich and it was massive, perfect for sharing, and absolutely delicious. our server was great and attentive, the place is so cute inside- definitely will be swinging by again

I ordered the cheese steak. I’m in Philly so no need to say it before. The food was awesome and the friendly staff made it even better. All the staff spoke to me and even a lady named Kathy. She seemed to be a manager or owner. I even ordered rice pudding and cherry pie to go after Kathy named a long list of tasty desserts. I’ll be back for breakfast tomorrow. Its a mile walk from my hotel, The Windsor, but well worth it.

Margaret was my waiter and she was amazinggggg 10/10 !! I visited with my boyfriend to Philadelphia and she made me feel at home right away (: . I ordered the skirt steak and it came with a salad, a soup, and two veggies (French fries count! And I ordered that!). All of the sides come with every entree which makes our meal so affordable and the most bang for my buck. The food was amazing and it came out very quickly. I’ll definitely come here again.

So much one could say about this long running establishment, and their menu is even longer than all that can be said. I mean, they have every thing on the menu, plus all day breakfast. They have great home fries, and friendly staff. If you want a classic Philly diner, go check it out. The staff is super awesome too, as it Little Pete, his brother, and their families. Just a great establishment.
