Such a nice spot with a lovely view of the canal and the bridge! They serve really good breakfasts — highly recommend the Banana Nut French Toast, it’s sooo good! The coffee is pretty basic though, and sadly they don’t have matcha.
We got our food in just about 5 minutes, even though the place was already getting quite busy. The staff here are super friendly and helpful, you can tell they actually care about their guests. Totally recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

A unexpected surprise. I rarely have ever left 5 star reviews. Honestly the best Chicken Fried Steak I’ve eaten in years. Well seasoned, delicious potatoes with onion and peppers, unlimited refills on coffee. This place had my taste buds making love to my breakfast. Also situated right next to the London Bridge for a nice view and to top it all pet friendly and a sweet waitress even brought Mr. Mochi a slice of bacon. ♥️. Highly recommended.

GREAT BLT! I was dropped off here with family during a jet boat tour excursion and decided to dine-in as it’s the closest eatery inside the Island Mall to the London Bridge dock. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food at this restaurant. The crispy bacon inside my BLT was to die for and the sandwich was overall very tasty. The sweet potato fries were also yummy, but I was severely disappointed when they only placed four waffle fries on my plate. It’s restaurant 101, you need to have proper portions.
Our waiting service left much to be desired, our waitress didn’t really check on us and seemed a little standoffish. It felt like she was looking into my soul at some points, I’m not sure what her intentions were.
The younger staff were super nice and really hardworking! I need to give a major shoutout to them for taking their job seriously. I wish we could’ve gotten one of the younger staff members, they had great customer service from what I could tell.
Overall, I really liked the tiki aesthetic and Hawaiian decor at Makai. I think I’d give it another try when I visit Havasu again, however I’d come at a different time and order something else like breakfast.

If you’re looking for Hawaiian cuisine, this isn’t the spot, it’s more of a classic American breakfast joint. The space is quite small given the number of customers, and unfortunately, cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The floor was messy, and the overall environment felt a bit neglected. That said, the food was excellent. I had the pancakes with their house-made syrup, and they were absolutely delicious. The kitchen delivers, even if the upkeep doesn’t.
The outdoor seating offers a beautiful view of the London Bridge and the channel, which makes for a great location despite the indoor shortcomings.

Stopped in for breakfast at Makai Cafe before heading to the Rockabilly Reunion, and it was the perfect way to start the day. I ordered the chicken fried steak with the hash brown casserole, and wow — it was amazing. The gravy alone is worth coming back for.
If you’re lucky enough to have Sierra as your waitress, your experience gets even better. She’s friendly, upbeat, and genuinely one of the nicest servers I’ve ever had. Her energy really adds to the whole visit. I definitely will be coming back every time I’m in town!

First time here. Cute little place with an awesome view. The service was good, the waiter, Carol was nice.
I had the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. It was delicious, the bread was really soft and crispy at the same time. Every ingredient in the croissant gave it such a good taste, especially the avocado

The Makai Cafe is a hidden gem in the shadow of the London bridge here in Lake Havasu city! Excellent food, friendly staff and a great value! We had the oatmeal with strawberries, raisins and bananas. French toast and breakfast tacos. This wonderful Cafe also makes their own Maple syrup. It is fantastic! Five stars for this great cafe’!

First time here, indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking available. Right on the water at the bridge, great views from the patio. Very clean restaurant, very casual, pet friendly. Lots of dogs on the patio. Greasy burger joint bug food breakfast food! Highly recommend and will return. Very reasonable prices and large portions. Friendly service as well.

We took the boat tour from Laughlin,Nv. to see Lake Havasu and the London Bridge. stopped in to Makai Cafe for lunch.
The service was great and the food was fantastic! We got a seat right away and had a great time hanging out. they have a good selection of adult beverages and good food. They had good music playing while we were there, but at a decent volume, so we could still hear each other. It was a beautiful day and we loved watching the boats, people and taking in the great London Bridge views.

I honestly love this place! The food portions are always huge. I’ve always come for breakfast or brunch and they never disappoint!
My new favorite is the croissant breakfast sandwich.
Definitely choose the home fries instead of the hashbrowns if you’re looking for homemade deliciousness!
Also choose the sausage patties instead of the bacon for huge patties with delicious flavor!
PS you’ll have a beautiful view of the London Bridge, a little waterfall, and a lot of beautiful green grass!
