A Stroudsburg icon – great icream and shakes with walk-in ordering and a handful of parking spaces right off the main road. Definitely gets busy in the summer and on holiday weekends. Basic fast food options as well but we always just go for the ice cream. I love the dipped waffle cone.

I believe the few poor reviews for this place must have been given by people who had different items than I ordered. Big Star Drive-In in Stroudsburg may be known for it’s sweet treats, but today we decided to have a nice lunch on the picnic benches with some beautiful weather.

Butter burger was amazing! Greek fries were perfectly seasoned and the ice cream blows the competition out of the water. Definitely can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend.

These little roadside eateries are where it’s at in the Poconos. There is a surprisingly large menu for hot and frozen foods. I got a gyro. It was pretty good. Fries were good too, but they needed salt. There is an eating area outside that’s perfect for what it is. Next time my kids and I come back we’ll try the frozen treats. Prices are where they should be. Give this little place a shot if you’re in the area, especially if you have kids. I think you’ll like it and so will they.

Wow. What an amazing burger. Had the Cajun raging burger. It was so good I went and got a second one!!! Chocolate milkshake was amazing and the fries we great as well. Was a great dinner!!! Will definitely be going back

So the ice cream treats are GREAT, but if your a REAL smoothie fan this is not the place for that. I got a mango smoothie and it tasted like coconut (I’m allergic to coconut). So I didn’t even finish it. It was like tricking my brain ♀️

We Ordered a beef gyro, crab fries, banana peanut butter smoothie and a cheese steak with everything. The gyro was delicious. If I could have ate another one, I would have. The fries were crispy and seasoned with perfection. The smoothie tasted like a reeses covered banana liquified in a cup. We are not from Pennsylvania and the only complaint was the cheesteak. Cheesteak from maryland must be a much higher form of delicacy . Cheesteak from big star tasted more like some kind of tomato saused beef pizza sandwich with cheese on a hotdog roll. Nothing even close to a cheesesteak sub from my part of the woods.

Not a fan, was cheap but overall a no for me. The mint chocolate chip ice cream cone was good. a mint chocolate chip thick shake was more liquid mint than anything else and the bottom of the cup had full chocolate chips. why cluldnt use the same ice cream from the cone? The red bull mango pineapple slush had no redbull and tasted of ice cream. Inside was small no room for people to stand, looked dirty. Won’t be back.

I ordered I cream the girl was so busy flinting with the boy that I waited 30 mins fir 2 banana splits .then when she gave them too me they melted and they was so disrespectful it was discussing they had along line out side it was ridiculous .I would never tell anyone to go there . And the ice cream was so sloppy . That pleace used too be but now he has a whole bunch of kids working it .it like a dating place fir them that work there
