Fabulous ‘50s/‘60s-themed diner just west of the French Quarter! Atmosphere is fun, with eclectic wallpaper, 60’s funk music and decor, and excellent breakfast. I had the Parish Bennie (fried green tomatoes, shrimp, over-medium eggs and a Cajun/Creole sauce over biscuits) and husband had the fried chicken breakfast. Both were delicious! Worth the walk if you’re not venturing west out of the French Quarter.

We came twice on our visit to New Orleans because it was so good! First time we came I got a fried egg sandwich on Mamie’s biscuit and my partner got the club sandwich with fries, both were absolutely delicious. Next time we came I got scrambled egg sandwich on the biscuit from our partner got the mushroom and Swiss burger. Again, so delicious! The service is amazing. Everyone is happy and friendly and super duper attentive and the prices are very fair. I highly recommend Majoria’s can anyone looking for good food near the French Quarter.

Pros:
✅Adorable restaurant/atmosphere
✅ Loved their sweet potatoes fries and breakfast hash browns
✅ Delicious sausage biscuits and gravy and olive muffuletta
✅ Amazing spicy Bloody Mary (one of the best!)
✅ Friendly staff

Considerations:
– They could benefit from an extra server for refills (coffee and soda – very hard to even track down)…and small requests for butter/jelly and our bill.

We visited two different days. Overall great place.

Wow, really cool little spot and great food. Kind of a 50’s diner feel to it. Super clean and the servers were busy, but so friendly.
Compliments to the kitchen. Not sure what they’re seasoning the beef with here, but I’ll take another classic burger any day of the week.
Good, direct, select menu. Draws a lot of breakfast brunch crowd. Was busy at 11:45, served fast and hot. Wish we’d seen this place in the morning to try breakfast too.
Had the classic burger, add cheese, bacon and a fantastic side of sweet potato fries. My companion had a chicken po’boy, said it was good too. HIGHLY recommend.

We were in New Orleans for a 4-day vacation and ended up at Majoria’s Commerce Restaurant for breakfast on 3 of those mornings — that alone should tell you how much we loved it! The food was consistently great, and the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming every time.

The star of the show, though, has to be their butter biscuits. Hands down, the best we’ve ever had in our lives. My friend and I even joked (only half-joking!) that we’d fly back to New Orleans just for another biscuit.

If you’re in the city and looking for a true breakfast gem, Majoria’s Commerce should be at the top of your list.

Takes a lot for me to leave a review. Went with my family and we all had nothing negative to say. Traditional breakfast was great. Mom got a chicken sandwich. Delicious. And the staff was great

Parish Benedict is a life changing experience. Eggs over medium allowed the yolk to flow into the shrimp, the perfectly fried green tomato, biscuit and sauce. Every bite was amazing.

The drip coffee was strong and dark- and amazing.

Service was kind, quick, and thoughtful.

My second visit this trip. Highly recommend.

Great little diner! The service is excellent as the food comes out fast. I ate here twice the CBB breakfast with jalapeno cheese was very good. The biscuits and gravy were okay. The biscuits are wonderful but the gravy was just so so to my taste. It did have a lot of black pepper which they know and I like that. I love their coffee cups
