We had such a great dinner at Maix Maix! The Corn Flan for dessert was a bit of a religious experience. You can try the delicacy Huitlacoche (“corn smut”) if you are looking for some unique veggie tacos. My husband loved his shrimp tacos as well. The guacamole was a whole meal in itself. We met Chef Ari, and David did a great job serving us.

We were staying just across the street and liked the look of Maiz-Maix for a quick meal. The food was excellent with reasonable prices and the drinks were two-for-one (Mojitos, Mezcal, and Margaritas). Our server (Ximena) was very personable and a lot of fun and promoted a relaxed atmosphere. For street-side dining I highly recommend a visit.

We all had such a fun time here. The live music was awesome. Relaxing vibe for sure. The staff are awesome as well.Great place to stop after the beach. Can’t hardly wait for my next visit.

Super friendly and fun server Ximena made our evening wonderful! We were 8 people and every single person loved their meal!! Presentation, taste, portions were all amazing. Our gluten sensitive friend was especially happy! Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, great music, good food. This is a must go to spot in PM. My only complaint would be that the salsa they serve with chips is basically inedible due to spice and I like a little bit of heat.

David was great, I tried the Red Passion cocktail he mentioned and it was impressive. Sweet and smokey with passion fruit. The food was very good, our Vegetarian was pleased with the offerings. Live music (singer) was a good mix of classic 70s hits and Mexican pop. We had a great time and are looking forward to trying happy hours: 1-6pm.
