Great food & perfect location.
Stopped in for lunch after our Palace tour and had a wonderful experience.
Location: Unbeatable. Very close to the Palace and the train station.
Comfort: The seating is very comfortable and the bathroom are great, perfect for a rest after a tour.
Food & Service: Both were top-notch. And great value for money considering the tourist location.
If you are visiting the area, this is a reliable and comfortable choice.

An absolute gem! We chose the restaurant as the vegetarian option seemed more appealing than others in the area, but were totally unprepared for the quality of the food and service. A five star experience from start to finish wonderful starters, incredible main courses and puddings to die for. The wine was great too and the service fantastic. We’ll definitely be going back!

RUN don’t walk to this fantastic restaurant! Everything was perfect from our welcome from waiter Florian, our encounter with the owner, and every active and friendly server. Now for the food: AMAZING! The tuna carpaccio appetizer and the Wagyu beef were just perfect. Such a tempting menu to enjoy, will definitely come back to try more. For dessert, the modern take on a lemon tart had so many surprising and delightful flavors. The creme brûlée with cognac was delicious and satisfying without being heavy at all. The wine selection was superb. This is a relatively new restaurant so reserve quick before there is a long wait of months to get a table.

I am giving a 5 stars (though I would give more if I could) for 4 good reasons:
First, the 3 standard ones: food, service and venue. All amazing. We went for dinner, and instantly, after the first starter, we booked for the day after. In total we tried (2 people): 4 starters, 4 mains, and 3 deserts. All utterly excellent, unique, delightful, perfectly cooked. Really some of the best dishes I have tasted in the last years, including Michelin star restaurants. A beautiful mixed between tradition and innovation, with top tier products. All improved thanks to a really lovely staff, always attentive! Thank you again for the two amazing days.
And the 4th reason: I just laughed so hard when reading the answers from the restaurant to the bad reviews. All so much on point! I totally agree: if you criticize food saying that the tataki was raw, perhaps you don’t deserve going to a restaurant in the first place.
Therefore, thank you again for all. We will definitely come back, and now I know visiting Maison Satory is as important as visiting the Chateau in Versailles.

I read another review that said “Run, don’t walk to this restaurant.” I couldn’t say it better myself. Every meal was delicious and so was every dessert. This is one of those places we’ll talk about every time we remember our trip to the Chateau of Versailles.

This beautiful restaurant in Versailles was fantastic. The staff are kind & personable, the setting and decor is picture perfect and the food, including dessert was well proportioned and delicious. Definitely recommend you stop in and visit.
