Great first impression! Friends who’ve been to Vietnam said the flavours here are very authentic. Presentation and portions were spot on. We tried Mai’s Special Spring Rolls — absolutely delicious — and the Beef Pho Special, which didn’t disappoint at all. My partner ordered the spicy beef and pork broth, and we both loved it. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! Bonus points for the effort put into the menu design — it really adds to the experience.

My new most favorite resturant in the UK. Never found such a flavorful Vietnamese dish like this before, even within the Southeast Asia. Each ingredient they use mutually enhance the complex beautiful taste. Also good price and atmosphere.

As a Vietnamese, I can confidently say that this is the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I’ve tried across Scotland during the last 8 years. We visited Aberdeen for a few days and we came here every single day for our meals. All the dishes we tried were amazing, authentic and really tasty, just exactly like home. The restaurant is also very pretty and the atmosphere is lovely. Price is more than reasonable. This restaurant is very popular so booking in advance is recommended. I only have photos of a few dishes as we too focused on enjoying the food and forgot to take pictures, but really, every dish is awesome. Highly recommend their bún bò, phở bò, phở gà, bún chả, bánh mì, nem rán, bò lá lốt.

Having been to Mai’s when it was a takeaway operation out of her home, I was delighted to hear she had a restaurant open.
Safe to say, it was great.

Had an absolutely perfect meal at Mai’s today, could not fault a thing. Flavourful, fragrant and delicious! spring rolls were so crispy and moreish, my man said the crab spring rolls were the best he has ever eaten. Will definitely be back to try out other dishes, and for more crab rolls! Welcoming atmosphere with polite staff.

I had a lovely experience in this cosy restaurant. It was very authentic and the food was made fresh. I ordered the fish curry and it was so tasty and steaming hot. The fish was very tender and cooked perfectly. The service was also excellent. We were served by Vu and Parnyan and they were very kind and checked in to make sure everything was ok. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience today, you can feel that care and love was put into every dish. The server in red was an absolute delight. I think some tables had to wait a bit for their food however we did not feel it took long. It was opening day and I’d rather wait longer for something to be made with love and quality ingredients which everything we ordered was. All the staff were so smiley, warm and kind. We will definitely be back to visit soon!

This is a newer restaurant. The food is incredible in a small setting. I had a hard time choosing what to get. Currently, it is BYOB, bring your own alcohol. Im not sure if that is temporary or permanent.
