Came here for lunch and ordered the French dip, grilled cheese with tomato soup, the pimento cheese app, and a rosemary mimosa. The food was good overall, especially the grilled cheese and tomato soup.
Restaurant was confusing, walked into the building to a nice bar area with an open porch, and then a more casual patio outside. Drinks were priced like a nicer restaurant, which felt a little off for the atmosphere. Also couldn’t really taste the rosemary in the mimosa, which was a bit of a letdown.

What a gem! The food was surprisingly delicious—every bite exceeded expectations. The service was friendly and attentive, and the live music added such a fun, lively vibe to the evening. It can get busy, so I recommend arriving a bit early to grab a good spot. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is a great spot to hang out! The service is great, especially Holly the bartender! She is absolutely amazing and always has great conversation. She is extremely attentive and I never had to ask for a drink. The food is good and Holly made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Holly is hands down the best bartender ever! Scotts pretty cool too!

Visited this place while staying next door with family. Absolutely had the best time all 4 nights we were there. Great bands/music, atmosphere, and the food hit the spot! Can’t wait to visit again soon hopefully!

What a fun place to spend a day outdoors. First if you’re lucky enough to have Holly, Alex, or Renee as your server you will be treated like family. Extremely nice and personable. That seems rare around town but they all have the best personalities. On to the food. I’ve had blue cheese slaw at several place and has always been a miss. This place has it down. Not overpowering slightly sweet and just right. Even topped my Italian panini with it. Your taste buds will thank you. You’re welcome

Lacey is one the BEST bartenders I’ve ever had!!! Mainland Container is one of the best bars I’ve ever been to in Mt. Pleasant!!!!! They have GREAT food!, GREAT service!!! (Miss Lacey especially!!!), and all around GREAT atmosphere!!!!

Always have a good time at Mainland. On the most recent visit, it was pretty crowded and they may have been understaffed so service was a little slow. But service staff was very friendly and helpful.
I ordered the grouper bites which were ok. Not a fan of the breading/batter they used but the fish was good and great sauce to accommodate.
They usually have some live music on the weekends and the outdoor space is where it’s all at! Usually they have decent amount of seating unless it’s an oyster roast day.
The best part is the dogs love it.
