Main Street Pizza & Tap – Doorstep Deliveries
Reviews
Our server was wonderful and greeted us right away. She brought our drinks promptly, and we were able to place our food order shortly after sitting down.
While waiting for our food, there was live music by The Joint Chiefs, and they were awesome—such a great addition to the experience!
When the food arrived, we were blown away all over again. The deep-fried deviled eggs were amazing, and the buffalo chicken dip was absolutely delicious. We ordered both the Piggy Smalls pizza and the Hillbilly Deluxe—and don’t let the apples on the Hillbilly Deluxe scare you away, because it was incredible!
Our only “complaint” (and we say that lightly) was that we needed pizza boxes to take leftovers home and they only had regular Styrofoam to-go containers. That said, we completely understand they’re just getting started, and it really wasn’t a big deal at all.
Everything—from the food and atmosphere to the service—was amazing, and the music was awesome. We cannot wait for our next visit to Main Street Pizza & Tap! ✨
Checkout the pics and videos to see. I was most impressed by the Wings and the Pizza. I am Looking forward to seeing Main Street Pizza and Tap have a ton of success in the coming year!!!!
Benton seriously needed a fun spot like this. The staff is ridiculously nice and makes the whole place feel welcoming and fun. Already planning my next visit!
Our server, Kayla Took care of us the whole night and there wasn’t one time we ran out of beer or sauce. She was on it. Also, I noticed there was a good mix of older and younger folks who were all just having a good time and it is a very low stress environment and we had a great time watching people sing karaoke while and I even got up there for the first time ever. Must Try!
A few in party had pizza. Rest ordered sandwiches. And had a pretzel. When had been there around hour asked about food. Was told all was ready except the 2 meatball sandwiches. She said there was a delay with getting them ready.
Food arrived. 2 sandwiches were cold. My dad had the Philly he said only part was warm rest was as cold as straight out of fridge. The pizza had sat long enough waiting for the other food there was no cheese pull. It was barely warm. My mom and I had the meatball sandwiches. Hers was ok. Mine had 3 half meatballs on it maybe a teaspoon of sauce. (Talking to my mom after hers had 3 whole meatballs) The cut side of the meatballs was burnt. You could scrape the crust on them. I told waitress and she took it away. And said will take off bill. We also had not got our pretzel. She went and checked on it and brought it out. It was a wonderful pretzel. Buttery and soft and the beer cheese excellent.
Short time later the manager came over. Was asking just what was wrong with the food(attitude from the get go) i explained the meatballs were burnt. She said you mean the bread? I said no they were burned on the griddled side. She then started loudly telling me there was no way because they are only cooked in sauce! I told her well those were because the cut side was burned. (Wondering if the problem with the meatball sandwiches was they didn’t have enough ready and they cut these in half to cook them quickly?) She pretty much inferred that we were lying. Loudly and aggressively! She then said i guess she took it off your bill. And asked if we wanted anything else. Told her at this point we had been there so long that I did not want to wait for anything else. This was by far the most rude exchange I have ever had when there was a problem in a restaurant! Before she came over everything was forgivable it is new after all. But after her antics I will not go back. I only wish had took picture of the burnt meatball.
The pizza sauce might be homemade, but if it is, it definitely needs more seasoning. The overall flavor just fell a bit flat. The biggest letdown for me was the chicken—we could tell it was store-bought, precooked, and pre-sliced, which was surprising and disappointing for a restaurant aiming to stand out.
The pizza and fries we had were also soggy and lacked seasoning, which made them feel rushed or unfinished rather than intentional.
I’m sharing this not to be negative, but because I truly want to see this place do better. Making more items in-house, improving seasoning, and tightening up execution could make a huge difference. With some adjustments, this could be a really solid pizza place for the community, and I hope they take the feedback and grow from it.
