Main Street Meats is a butcher/restaurant located in the downtown neighborhood of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It’s a high-energy, bustling restaurant that treats you like a regular. They offer many drink options, and lunch is served with sandwiches and steaks. The menu changes daily, and dinner service is also available.
A heated sidewalk greets you. The ambiance of a local farm-meets-restaurant complements the butcher shop, with views of the kitchen from the dining room and large windows that let in natural light. A hustling staff with energy constantly makes sure all the glasses are filled. Food is served promptly and is absolutely delicious.
From a long-time Reuben connoisseur, this was the first Reuben where the meat was the star and not the sauerkraut—the best I’ve ever had. The German potato salad was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, a melt-in-your-mouth steak seasoned just right with no additional sauces, allowing the natural flavors to shine. Highly recommended, you definitely should eat here more than once.

This is a high end place. The food is fantastic. If you don’t mind the price, this is the place to go! The regular rib eye was great. My friends had the aged ribeye (more expensive) and that had a very savory taste. Definitely the best ribeye I’ve had.
Then, the chocolate chip bacon cookie over chocolate Gelato was literally the best cookie I’ve EVER had in my life.

Splendid time with great bourbon conversations, delicious food and a fun bar atmosphere. The bartender knew a lot about bourbon and helped guide me to great choices. The potato salad? BEST I’ve ever had in my life and that is saying something. Absolutely amazing either way a blend of mayo and mustard, warm and inviting with creaminess and flavor.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Main Street Meats. We were welcomed right away by Seth and taken care of by both him and Maddy. The food was phenomenal, service excellent, and great atmosphere. We had such a wonderful time and Maddy and Seth both knew exactly what they were talking about concerning the food or any questions we had. They were enthusiastic, personable, and so fun to talk to. The Local Beef Burger should be called the Heavenly Burger! It was absolutely delicious, as was everything we tried. The Blood Orange Tarte was fantastic but the Cookies and Creme Bacon Cookie Ice Cream was divine!! We highly recommend, we had the best time here.

Our meal was absolutely spectacular. The service was spot on. Our water was ALWAYS full. We ate with our dogs on the patio. Probably one of the best meals I’ve eaten out. They even split our trout into 2 dishes since I was sharing with my mom. Fish was PERFECTLY cooked. Steak had so much flavor. Can’t wait to come back. The squash dip was chefs kiss. Thank yall very much.

Excellent! We came here for lunch while visiting Chattanooga. Everything was spot on! Our server Eli was friendly and attentive. The charcuterie was so good. The quality of the food is top notch. The drinks were also excellent!

Everything was perfect. This restaurant was recommended by someone in the Choo Choo and I am so glad we went. We were not expecting much but exceeded our expectations. This is a must go. My wife and I visited here 2-years ago when Josh Gates was in town. The location and atmosphere is great with phenomenal service not to mention the food. The food is indescribable delicious. This time we shared the Niman Ranch Bavette steak cooked medium which produce so much flavor. We also chose the upgraded potato salad, which blew us away. The fried potatoes took it to another level with bacon, mustard seed, mayo and Dijon. Highly recommend adding these potatoes to your dish. You won’t regret it. We also got the Homegrown – Mexican coke with peanuts (childhood memories) with Chattanooga 91 and Big Country Energy. To add to the meal is being served by Kimberly!
