This is a neat place for breakfast with a small group of people. You can get a pressed penny and even make a phone call at the pay phone inside. Try the french toast. I haven’t tried the lunch. Service was fine but some of the tables could use a dusting, the morning sun shows the dust.

Had the texas omelet and it was awesome! Can’t wait to come back and try their hamburgers for lunch!

The diner has been closed and stated via Facebook: “We will keep everyone updated if and when we decide to reopen.” As a side note to the owners, not everyone uses Facebook, and Facebook often won’t let people view a business page without an account.
The people of Franklin have been very loyal to the diner despite their major inconsistencies with hours of operation. The post reads like a backhanded farewell rather than an indication of business struggles.

Absolutely horrible, twice now I have had bad experiences with this restaurant. First was me and my coworkers did a order and picked it up to take it back to work unfortunately order was incorrect (we should have checked) second two of the burgers we raw in the middle and not just a little pink but completely uncooked raw.(Didn’t call and complain or ask for refund) Second time me and coworkers went and sat in and ordered, waited 1hour and 30 minutes to not only watch all of the people walk in get food and refills before us but then got attitude from 3 employees and when asked for an manager the cook comes out aggressive and blaming that we had to big of a order(8 people). No one spoke rude or ugly, just wanted to understand why this is such a problem. Cook also argued with 3 customers! Just crappy so my solution is I just won’t come back again no need for confrontation!

Please change your listing to reflect your reduced hours. This place is only open for breakfast and lunch, apparently.

Small town diner. The food was good. The service was laid back and easy going. This isn’t where you go for a fast meal. You go here for good food, good friends, and good times.

Really great place to dine in and the atmosphere and service is amazing! Food is always great and delicious. I recommend the waffles in the air breakfast time. But anything that you want is always delicious and good to eat. Heck try it all! I love the Buffalo chicken sandwich and fries! ❤️
But if you ever have a recipe, please share it nicely with the owner/cook and she will try to make it right. But I have no problems eating there. Enjoy!

Only had 3 menus in the restaurant so we had to wait on 2 other tables before even getting to see it. Silverware and straws are self serve so you have to get up to get them when your food arrives. Place was clean with a relaxing atmosphere. I got the pulled pork sandwich which was a 5/5, but I got a side order of potato salad that was really watery with bland taste 2/5. My son got a grilled cheese, but the cheese wasn’t even melted all the way.

Had a wonderful experience here, the wait stuff for wonderful and our breakfast was delicious! We had the Philly steak, omelette and French toast and eggs with hoop cheese! We couldn’t ask for it to be any better! We got to talking to a older couple that was in there and then we realized when we checked out or we were going to check out that they have paid for our breakfast. That was really sweet of them and it was wonderful talking to someone just about normal everyday life!
Overall, just a great place! We will definitely be back!

Great service, great food. There is a shortage of decent breakfast places that aren’t Waffle House. This restaurant is warm, clean, inviting, and makes a mean biscuit. My only real complaint is the grits are a tad too sweet to my tastes. Highly recommend for the breakfast. I will definitely be back with the family.
