FOOD; was Very Good, Hot, All the Ingredients were Tasty, thr Bacon was thick, Cheese was Good, FOOD Portions were Great, hands Down 5 stars on Tacos we Ordered.
SERVICE; Very polite and respectful. The waitress automatically asked questions and refills CUPS. I respect that.
ATMOSPHERE;was great, lots of colors. Great seats.the old style look was nice to enjoy.

Maybe the best enchiladas I have ever had. Went back next week and got the softest and tastiest carne gisada plates. This place is truly a diamond in the rough. They have a blue plate award, too. They also have a lot of weekly specials that I don’t see at other restaurants, and they’re all $8.99 w/ coffee or tea. The tortillas are definitely homemade there. Usually, I see different prices for different specials. I wish they had the avocado salsa, unless you have to request it. (Price went up June 2025 to $8.99)

Not only does this restaurant serve the MOST delicious and authentic Mexican food, their service is hands down THE BEST!
Now, as if that weren’t enough, they’re stepping out and sharing their baking talents with the community. We’ve tried their red velvet cake, flan, and banana nut bread. And y’all … they are SUPER good!

The salsa and chips are excellent. The salsa is a more creamy sauce served warm and had a great flavor. Its not your traditional salsa. The enchiladas verdes were delicious. The sauce was creamy and the tartness of the tomatillos was subtle. The tamarindo agua frescas was great.

Been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed. Very friendly and welcoming staff, best Carne Guisada in town, and try the chicken quesadilla. Not a chain and down to earth good food.

Where I’m from, we call this a ‘hole in the wall’—the kind of place you’d miss if you blink. I’m so glad I didn’t! I’ve been living in New Braunfels for two years now, and this spot, though not in New Braunfels, beats any restaurant there hands down. The cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and downright delicious food make it an absolute must-visit.

I come from Oregon which has amazing Mexican food and am so happy I found this place it reminds me of how good things were back home. My breakfast burrito was packed full of flavor and so messy which means it’s going to be delicious. 10/10 experience can’t wait to come back to try the tacos.
