We were visiting Brownsville and had lunch here. Good food, excellent service, and a nice location. The first time we only had ice cream. We returned a year later and had a very good experience.

5•14•25 so we decided to give it a try. Off the bat this is not worth $30.00+ this is so sad and the way the menu is labeled even worse great example on pics so I ordered the “Avocado chicken sandwich ” where the heck is the Avocado for a $ 13.00 Flat sandwich are you kidding even the high end competitors are bigger and at least worth the 13.00 and here no very dissapointed the soup is another poblano soup.. really its poblano sauce diluted with water to make it soupy and very bland no flavor but spice. And the Club croissant omg so Flat like a slice of the main course and one cheese. The lents very bland too no flavor and boring. I expected alot better since some people brag abt the food there. Well you fooled me 100% it wouldn’t recomend this place in my opinion and here are my pictures to prove it and if you’re a big eater I guarantee you WON’T get full.. and money down the drain. Place seems clean yet very shysty with portions nit worth the cost.

The food is fantastic! I asked for the most popular plate and they told me it was the poblano chicken cornbread with a side veggie salad. I can see why!! It was fantastic. I found myself eyeing everyone else’s plates because they all looked great. Wish I had a menu with photos to know what the other orders looked like.
Parking is a bit rough so you may have to circle the block a time or two. I will be going back to try everything else.

My husband brought me here for a late lunch & i was very satisfied with the food. Chicken Marsala is delicious! White rice was on point! I was super happy with the serving portion. My husband order the chicken poblano & that too was good. I love the atmosphere & had a good time. Definitely would love to come back

Atmosphere is nice, clean, and fresh. Service was good and staff was very friendly.
I did however give it 3 stars because out of the 3 meals we got, one meal— Cuban sandwich did not have much flavor. I had to drench with Dijon mustard.
The codito soup tasted as they just added more water to the pot and they didn’t allow the flavors simmer into the soup.

Main Street has been my go to LOVVEEE THEIR FOOD!! I’ve tried many of their plates & it never fails where I am not satisfied with the food. The costumer service is always good employees are always in a good mood checking up on their customers. The restaurant is very clean.

Native of Brownsville who now lives in a Austin, but was back in town visiting family. Had heard great things about this place and I was excited to dine here for both the ambience and food. Didn’t disappoint for a deli that is part of the effort to renovate downtown. The place was also super clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Will be back and recommend to others!

There have been different places at this same location before, they never lasted. I only looked from the outside back then, but now this place even from the outside looks great. It’s remodeled and the atmosphere is just nice.
Can’t talk a lot about the food since it was my first time, I’m just gonna say the Cuban sandwich is a must, the smell and texture of the bread, just on its point, and the combination of pulled pork, Swiss cheese and a bit of mustard, I almost cried of joy.
And don’t forget the good old fresh squeezed lemonade.

Excellent restaurant in downtown Brownsville. Speedy service, high quality food and great service. Parking can be hard to come by but a one or two block walk is definitely worth it. Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and Poblano Pasta are great choices accompanied by Bill’s World Famous Lemonade.
