Service fantastic! Cozy place. Only came for drinks. Smoothies were only ok, did not taste like fresh fruit. Iced coffee and iced cafe mocha were made well. Frosted lemonade did not have enough lemon tartness. Worth a try for food as it all looked good.

Ordered the club panini; one single slice of turkey and one single slice of ham, then some bacon tossed on there. This sandwich, fries, a sweet tea, and a $3 tip cost $22 which feels kind of like a scam. Would’ve have been nice to get at least lettuce and tomato to make it more filling with the lack of actual food. This is the type of food you get when a place doesn’t put care and love into their products.

Good spacious place with many sandwich and wrap options on the menu. Got a black bean burger, it comes sandwiched in a Croissant. It was good. The black bean was not a patty but a ball of smashed beans.

I regularly come here for the panini and coffee. Today I ordered my items and my cup was placed on the counter where it stayed. I sat down was served my sandwich and ate it in entirety all while still waiting for my coffee. I continued to watch her serve the several customers after me and still not make my drink. After I finished eating I waited back in line and asked about my coffee. My cup was still sitting on the counter to which she replied I’m making it now. No apology. Won’t be back! Hopscotch has better coffee anyway.

Coming from New York, I had low expectations for a small coffee shop in rural Virginia… I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality of food and drink served. My chai latte tasted like it was made with homemade chai mix. Our sandwiches were fresh and tasty. Great place to stop before or after visiting Shenandoah!

I’m just really disappointed because I’ve always enjoyed the location of this coffee shop. It’s a nice place to stop with friends and occasionally you do get something good to enjoy. My problem is that I never know if I’m going to get a good drink or if a drink will taste the same as last time. Today I paid like $7 for a small chai latte, which I ordered because I didn’t want to risk it with the coffee again but I was on main street and wanted some sort of drink. I have had this drink a lot from multiple different places and I have never had one taste like this. I took it to go and tried it as I was leaving but thought that maybe it wasn’t mixed well and it would be better in a minute. The more I have had of it the worse it is and I can’t tell if they made it wrong or used expired ingredients. If this was one time I wouldn’t be so bothered but I just paid so much for a small drink that tastes like sour milk at 8 in the morning.

I’ve been here in the past and never had bad experiences, but today I ordered a medium iced vanilla latte with whipped cream along with a cherry yogurt parfait. The parfait was pretty good, no complaints there. The coffee was downright disgusting; it had a sour burnt taste, no hint of vanilla flavoring, and it was still warm with a few ice cubes floating in it. I tried adding sugar to no effect, and if the drink hadn’t cost over $6 I might have just walked away but I just had to return it. I told the barista about the taste and she said she’d make another, to which I replied that if it was the same coffee and ingredients then I wasn’t sure if I wanted another. She immediately went ahead and made another, put it down on the counter, and walked away to the back of the kitchen. I took one sip and it was the same gross taste, so I left it on the counter and walked out. If I hadn’t already been prompted at checkout to leave a tip (minimum 15%) I certainly wouldn’t have done so, and as of this experience I have no reason to ever go back since there are plenty of other coffee shops in FR.

Was visiting the area for a few days and happened to stumble upon this place for breakfast. I ordered the Cajun chicken wrap, tots, and an iced coffee. Everything tasted phenomenal and was very flavorful. Very clean place and greet customer service! Highly recommend!!
