Brought my three kiddos in for some fun. Alyssa the bartender was amazing. Even with the chaos that is my children, they never missed a beat. Perfect drinks every time and didn’t bat an eye with the weird requests they each had.

Our son’s birthday is today. This place is wicked awful, of course I anticipated this given the location. We purchased tickets to the ropes and then when heading to them we were told they were closed due to it being a slow day. Our son was so sad! His brother was also so upset.
Food- omg terrible. We ordered and them after the fact, when asking for ranch and lettuce for items that come with them already served to us, we were informed they were out.
I will say that Andrew was phenomenal in apology and support!
Do NOT come to this location if you have kids- such disappointment.
I’m not a fan of Kansas but dang it we’ll be heading there.

Very Disappointing Experience
We spent over $140 at Main Event in Independence ($100 on game cards and $40 for the zip line attraction) and were extremely disappointed with the food service afterward.
Our kids were hungry, so we ordered snacks from the snack area. Three chicken fingers took 30 minutes to come out. After that, we had to wait another 5 minutes just to get someone’s attention for ketchup.
Later, we ordered chips and queso and a basket of fries for $12 for them to share. That took another 25–30 minutes, and when it finally arrived, it was ridiculous. They gave us about 10 fries and maybe a dozen chips, and the queso was cold. The portion was nowhere near what was shown in the picture, which was extremely deceiving.
On top of that, the fountain drinks had no ice. When we asked about the chips, the heavier set woman in the pink shirt, blonde hair (no name tag) was very rude and told us we’d have to order another chips and queso just to get more chips. Thankfully, another worker did heat up the queso after we complained.
We ended up speaking to the manager, who gave us a plate of fries, but we should not have had to escalate the issue just to receive a reasonable portion or basic customer service.
Between the long waits, misleading food portions, lack of ice, and rude staff, this experience was frustrating and not worth the money. We will not be back.

Had a fun time here, always fun to come here with family. VERY expensive… be expecting to pay quite a bit for anything you do, eat drink whatever. We had a good and nice waitress and Andrew was a good help when we had an issue at our bowling lane. Best place to go to if you have a gift card and/or want to hang with a group of friends.

Took my boys to hang out at main event today, sat at the bar while they ran around. Mollen and Alyssa was amazing to say the least!! Very attentive with all of their guests! Would gladly come up and hang out the bar again!

Main event can be extremely costly if you have a family on a budget. But on Mondays they have a game pass for about 14$ a person can play games or activities. We usually get a game pass and let 2 kids share 1 card. It doesn’t include any of the virtual games, and you can’t redeem any tickets you earn. the food is expensive, and takes a long time to receive. The escapes room are roughly 25 for 6 people at time. Im not even sure how 6 people would fit in the small escape rooms, Half the clues inside didn’t even work, and there is no prize if you win. Just the experience which is still fun, even through the things dont always work. I would have to day bowling is probably the best activity. Which is about 60 for a family of 4 including shoes.
