The guy didn’t give us utensils. So we asked for utensils. We ordered 3 meals, he gave us 1. I ordered a duck and we received 2 piece of tiny leg
And one slice of meat. Picture on the menu is deceiving. It’s our first time & it will be the last time. This meal isn’t worth $84 dollars. I even gave $20 tip. Very disappointed.

Great experience here. Had a good time with the dimly lit, chill atmosphere. Our server was nice and friendly. The food was delicious! The drunken noodles tasted amazing! I chose a cocktail that was very colorful and tasted pretty good too. You can also just have the bartender whip up a surprise drink for you, which I am intrigued by and will probably do next time. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I’d heard great things about the food at Mai Thai so we picked up dinner for three on Saturday night. Here’s the scoop.
Best Thai food we’ve had in Boise. Not close. I got the “Authentic Spice” level and it was as complex and satisfying as anything I’ve eaten in the Far East. Flavorful. Out front. Not overwhelming. My girlfriend’s and daughter’s dinner were as satisfying as my own.
We picked up our dinner…apparently we’re the only ones in Boise who don’t have food delivered. But great counter staff for me and all the delivery guys. Super cool delivery box set up.
The menu is the most robust and discriminating as any I’ve seen.
Run, don’t walk…actually you have to drive…to order dinner at Mai Thai. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing food and even better cocktails. Superb service and atmosphere as well. H I G H L Y R E C O M M E N D. Friends got two of the chef’s specials and they thought it was great. I got the Honey Duck and a Spider Roll, both were delicious.

Great experience though. I had a Zombie and a Mai Thai and that’s all I needed if you know what I mean. Stacey and James were great. They both mixed our drinks and served us and were really welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful.
TLDR: Definitely coming again next time I’m in Boise. 10/10 food, cocktails, staff, atmosphere.

Having been a Mai Thai customer and fan for many years in the past, I was excited to try the new location/take out.
I was disappointed. The green curry and fried rice were not very good. The vegetables and meat were good quality, but the flavor and seasonings were unsatisfactory. It was nothing like the old Mai Thai. Bummer. It was expensive and I didn’t want to finish it.

Very good fusion cuisine – well-balanced traditional flavors without coming across as watered-down. Ordered fried rice extra well-done (served with shrimp, scallops and fried egg). One of the most notable fried rices I’ve had in a while. Great work!

Hands down the best Thai restaurant in Boise. The ingredients they use are of super high quality. Every dish we got was amazing. Highly recommend their Crab Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Crab Rangoon, Kor Moo Yang (Thai-style grilled pork) and Mango Sticky Rice.
They also have an excellent drink menu — we got their mocktails and they were amazing, especially the Lychee one. The service was great, we did not have to wait long for our food at all and the staff were very nice.
Overall an amazing experience and very tasty & authentic Thai food.

Absolutely wonderful. The sushi rolls were perfect and Tom Ka Gai was delicious with flavors spot on, and came in a flaming soup kettle so we could finish it hot. Large drink menu with lots of specialties and fun presentation. Our server was awesome, very knowledgeable and attentive but not overbearing. Great part of Boise, I didn’t mind parking a few blocks away and walking past surrounding cute shops and lively patios to get there. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I love this restaurant and come every time I’m in Boise. I came here with my mom and grandma and we had a really lovely time. Our waitress, Jade, was so nice and friendly. She helped my grandma choose a lunch combo she would like and was super accommodating with substitutions.
The dining room is atmospheric and quiet even when it’s pretty full. The food is excellent; the lunch plates are an awesome deal—you get a ton of little dishes to try all for a really great price. I love the pad se-ew with tofu so much that I just get a plate of that now. The fried tofu is the best I’ve ever had, super flavorful with a great texture.
I’m looking forward to coming back in the future!
