As a frequent patron of this place, I have to say their breakfast food and tai food are superior to any restaurant in their price bracket. The food is fantastic for a bar/cafe. The service is the reason I keep coming back. They always remember me, my order, and my requests. This a Milwaukee dive diamond in the rough! The only criticism is that they have music WAY TOO LOUD!! I always find the seat in the back of the restaurant, to escape the volume of the bar

Usually leary of places with huge menus that serve everything, but this place has always served spot on dishes. I also don’t usually order burgers but their Asian burger was phenomenal. (Fresh burger not frozen) Cabbage, cilantro, onion, tomato and teriyaki sauce. I added mozzarella and combined it was perfect.

Mai”s Restaurant is an awesome place, it has a bar connected to it but it has a big door separating it, so the bar doesn’t interfere with the nice restaurant. The food is excellent and the prices are on par with other places but the serving sizes are bigger. The waitresses are always pleasant and it’s a great place for kids as well. The bar has FREE pool and music (as long as you’re drinking). Moreover it’s connected to a decent priced hotel so you don’t have to drive drunk. The drink prices are great as well. It’s a very nice place with cheap drinks and food.

The 3 ladies that were there tonight were absolutely amazing and very welcoming. The prices for the food was really reasonable and the food’s taste was unreal. It was by far the juiciest burger I have ever had and the fries were perfect.
If you happen to be in the area amd have the time for some good food, definitely drop by and order up.

I stayed at the hotel next door for a few weeks and this restaurant quickly became my go-to spot. The food was fantastic and surprisingly affordable, especially after Portland. The Alpine Burger was great, and their Thai curry and pad Thai were outstanding. Breakfast was a treat, with perfectly cooked sausages and delicious pancakes or French toast. Highly recommend it!

I had the veggie stir fry and it’s amazing. Homemade from scratch (!!) teriyaki sauce, come to find out all sauces on menu are owners own. Truly divine. Veggies were cooked expertly, just enough not too much so fresh crisp and plentiful. Lovely staff, Becky has been with the owner for 20 years. Great vibe. Happy I found this little gem!

Food is only ok, very over priced I paid over 6 bucks for a single order of fries with cheese. I also had gotten a chicken wrap and taco salad, there was more lettuce in both than meat and in the wrap the lettuce had a wired taste and brown. The customer service is great just the food and prices also to charge a to go fee is just crazy. Won’t recommend!!!!!!
