Amazing staffs! Professional and sweet.
There’s something about this place, I got the mafia house vibe inside. Cozy, smokey and clean place. Worth every money spent.
Also, they have a great collection of wines too.
The staff appeared inattentive, and one item, which is one of the signatures recommended by the staff ( king prawn) was served incorrectly / extremely cold which was disappointing. Basic service standards and attention to detail were lacking throughout the visit.
With improved staff training and better guest engagement, this restaurant has strong potential, as the food itself is commendable. I hope to see improvements in service on future visits.
Starter
1. Andhra Chilli Crab : De-shelled Crab cooked in Andhra style. Taste was good
2. Chicken Chilli Green Pepper: Too good in taste. Little Chinese Style
3. Crab Vertel: Whole Crab was served. Masala was spicy but little salty in taste
4. Prawns Malabar Chilli: Jumbo size prawns tossed in Coconut milk and Spicies
We got Glass of wine free
Main Course
1. Prawns Gassi
2. Chicken Chettinad
3. Chicken Manglorian
4. Butter Naan, Roti, Apam and Neer Dosa
We loved Prawns Gassi and Chicken Chettinad and it tastes too good with Apam and Neer Dosa
Overall its 8/10
Prior booking is must during weekends
Ambience felt little dark and still it is suitable for family. Can enjoy cricket match on TVs.
Definitely try their special cocktails.
Food experience was little mixed. Bombay duck was bland in taste.
But one of their staff suggested vijaywada curry and that was damn good. Taste was little spicy and ticked all the right boxes. Portion size was good for 3 people.
Must try with appam. Nothing can beat the experience.
Service was excellent.
Valet parking is available.
A popular seafood restaurant serving classic Mangalorean seafood dishes. Good balance of flavour and spice.
Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5
Average PPP INR 5000
Juhu Branch – A stone’s throw from Juhu Beach Cozy vibes, orange lights giving a slightly dingy but aesthetic feel. Décor won’t even make you guess it’s a seafood spot.
Known for fish, but yes, you’ll find other good stuff too. On the pricier side; so keep your wallet ready.
Staff + Manager = Warm & Friendly vibes.
Must-Trys:
• Chicken Ghee Roast
• Pomfret Tawa Fry
• Mixed Seafood Soup
• Neer Dosa
• Appam
Must-Avoids: None (yet!)
Price: ₹₹₹₹ (Expensive)
Verdict: Go for the seafood, stay for the vibe. Pricey but worth it.

This was our second visit to Mahesh Lunch Home in two nights during our four-night stay in Mumbai—that’s how much we love this place. Many friends told me to try their garlic‑butter specials, so we ordered garlic‑butter prawns for my 5‑year‑old, and she devoured them. The garlic‑butter sauce left on her plate was so good, I happily took it with my rice.
My 7‑year‑old, not a seafood fan, enjoyed her beloved reshmi kebab again—soft, flavorful, and exactly to her taste.
For us adults, hubby and I ordered the lobster lajawab and lobster Malabar chilli, paired with roti and rice. Each dish was absolutely delicious—rich, aromatic, with the perfect balance of spice. The lobster lajawab was buttery and indulgent, while the lobster Malabar chilli offered a beautiful heat that lingered just right.
We were thrilled to see Sunil and Vinod again—they remembered us and once more took exceptional care. Attentive, warm, and effortlessly thoughtful, they made the evening feel like catching up with old friends. We loved everything about our dinner. Highly recommend.

My friends highly recommended Mahesh Lunch Home in Juhu so we went for dinner after it reopened as it was closed yesterday due to the Maharashtra bandh on July 14
Sunil the captain and Vinod our server took excellent care of us. They were attentive thoughtful and made sure every detail was taken care of without us even having to ask. From making sure the kids were comfortable to anticipating our needs they were warm courteous and professional throughout the evening
For dinner my 5 year old wanted the chicken sweet corn soup. Sunil thoughtfully split it into two bowls so both my 5 and 7 year olds could have their own. My 5 year old loved it and the 7 year old was okay with it
For the kids Sunil recommended chicken reshmi kebab with no spice and they enjoyed it with rice. It was soft flavorful and mild enough for their taste
We ordered tandoori pomfret for my husband and me. We got to choose our fish and it was cooked to perfection. Spicy smoky and delicious we loved every bite and did not leave a crumb behind
We also ordered the Mahesh special prawn curry which was outstanding. The curry was rich creamy and full of flavor and the prawns were generously portioned and perfectly cooked. We had it with tandoori rotis and rice and everything was just delicious. The flavors were deep and satisfying with just the right amount of heat and seasoning
My husband had ordered fish and chips thinking the kids might not eat the reshmi kebab but they did not touch the fish and chips at all
Not wanting to waste food we packed the untouched fish and chips the remaining prawn curry and rice. Later that night we gave it to an elderly lady living in a tent near our hotel and she was very grateful
This was a memorable dinner not just because of the food but because of the kindness of the staff and the overall warmth of the experience. Highly recommended
