Used to be my undisputed favourite restaurant in Guyana. Great food, and always good seating and service. The mutton Rogan Josh is delicious paired with naan, same with most of the curry options. The rice is ok but honestly if you’re going ALWAYS get a curry dish, they’re the best. Overall, if you love indian food you’ll love this place. (Also try Parampara on Oronoque street for great indian meat dishes)

The food is really really good. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. And to top it off, the restaurant is just gorgeous itself. Lovely spot for the family and to bring all your guests to have a good time.
Customer service from a take-out perspective is great. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to everyone, Indian or not because their food choices are multicultural.

Excellent Indian restaurant in Georgetown. I really appreciated the great service and how they went out of their way to make me a dish not on the standard menu after I asked for advice on what to order. I believe it was called “Chicken Jhalfrizy” and it was delicious and the perfect portion size for one.

Went for dinner, list of specials on chalkboard. Asked about it, was told that it was a meal for one. Asked multiple time to be sure. expected small quantities of each. Was clearly upsold. Common tactic in some restaurants or by some staff. Was clearly viewed as a non regular. Be careful in ordering. The food was good. There were flies in the restaurant however.

This restaurant in Georgetown has very elaborate decorations making the dining experience a bit fun. The service was excellent, very attentive and courteous. The food is a pretty broad range of Chinese and Indian dishes. I went for Chinese and thought it was pretty okay. Many of my colleagues chose Indian and seemed very pleased. Some vegan diners said they loved it. So, for me the food was just okay but these aren’t my favorite types, and those that like it, loved this place.

Well decorated, quite good. Authentic. But ensure you inform the waiters how spicy you like the food. It may be too spicy.
Good selection. Very nice. Enjoyed our meal.

I went here for a date with my girlfriend and it was amazing. A lot more expensive than the typical restaurant and food place. E.g a place would cost around $2000 for meals for 2. But here I paid $10000 for meal of 2 that’s in Guyana dollars. It was worth it tho. A lot of selection and nice atmosphere.

My fourth time to visit this amazing establishment. Very authentic vibe will make you feel like you are transported to India. The decor is beautiful and the place is very clean and nice.
My waiter on every visit Nimanshu is truly attentive. On this last visit I had visitors in town and suggested we go to Maharajah Palace. The guest said this was absolutely amazing. All 7 guest truly enjoyed the food. We tried a little bit of everything on the menu. No pork no beef but mutton, chicken, seafood. I can guarantee that you will love this food and atmosphere. This has become my go to for soups also. It is an Indian Chinese Fusion menu. The curries from India and/or Chinese are amazing
Didn’t really want to let this little gem out of the bag but they deserve some recognition
