Currently 3:35 pm on Valentine’s Day. Walked in for a couple of appetizers and just to enjoy the weather and sit outside.
We walked in and we were helped by an older man who pretty much told us to get out.
Absolutely nobody sitting inside. Dead. Only a couple parties of 2/3 sitting outside. Really bad energy. Shook his head in frustration and honestly looked like he was about to cry because he had “150 reservations”. I’m not sure if he thought we were going to spend hours at the table. we really just wanted an appetizer or two as we have dinner reservations at 6:45 elsewhere. Keep in mind, not a single soul in the restaurant yet. Only a couple tables outside.
I’m sure we could have sat and ate for the 45 minutes we planned on spending here, before the entire restaurant was filled with “150 reservations”. your employee costed you a couple customers because of that terrible encounter. I wanted to try this place but am no longer interested

What Italian restaurant doesn’t provide bread at the onset of the meal to dip in oil and cheese? This one! Also shocked that when I asked our server to top off my cup of coffee (which had gone cold) I was told I’d be charged for another cup.
This is not a gripe about the server, she was great. But really disappointed by the nickel and dime approach taken by this restaurant. They even passed on their 3% surcharge by using Visa for payment to us. Our bill for just two of us with one glass of wine was $90 without tip. I’m a local living in the neighborhood and will not be returning.

Probably my favorite Italian restaurant in Scottsdale. Incredible appetizers and entrees. Service is top notch. Atmosphere is classy and super clean. I have been several times and plan to continue frequenting Ciao Grazie.

Why can’t we have more places like this back home. All around great. The pizza was excellent thin crust with a snap. Holds the goods without spilling the prize.
The Ceasar salad might be one of her favorites and scamorza, wow. Decent selection of Italian wines. Thanks for a great romantic evening.

There were about 50 of us there for a private event. The worst was awesome as was the food. Nice atmosphere, but no idea of pricing.

Very good food, the waitstaff was polite and prompt. The food (I got a salmon pizza) and drinks were delicious.
It was slow for being a Saturday night, but the atmosphere was nice and my wife and I were able to have a wonderful conversation without a noisy background.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice italian place a little out of the way.

Ciao Grazie is my go to when I want amazing, authentic Italian food! The ravioli is to die for! I swapped the sauce for Alfredo and had zero regrets! My daughter had spaghetti with meatballs, also a great choice! My son devoured the salmon…it looked so yummy! Dad had lasagna… I snagged a bite and it was the best lasagna I’ve ever tasted! Service is always great, and when the weather allows, the dog friendly patio is a must!

Walked in due to the good ratings and reviews. Franco the owner greeted us and showed us great Italian hospitality and food. Tried a pizza! Great ingredients and the Balsamic and Olive oil were premium stuff that sat on the table. Real Italian charm and food! Thanks for the great food and experience. Piacere di conoscerla!
