We went here for dinner and absolutely loved it. The peshwari naan was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The curries were rich, full of flavour, and beautifully cooked, and the vegetable biryani rice was just as delicious.
The owners are brilliant — so friendly and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even more special. It has such a warm, inviting atmosphere.
A definite must-visit if you love Indian food. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing experience at Maharaja Indian Restaurant! The food was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The curries were rich and authentic, the naan was soft and perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes were very generous.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. Service was fast, friendly, and professional, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Had a great experience at this Indian restaurant. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and tasted very authentic. The spices were well balanced and everything was nicely presented. The staff were polite, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable throughout. The place was clean and had a nice, warm atmosphere. Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for quality Indian food. Only issue for me that on a hot steamy night- no AC on!! Sweating profusely during dinner!!!

I honestly don’t understand how this place earned its reviews. This was the worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had! The food was bland and lifeless, except for the Lamb Madras, which was overwhelmingly salty and still somehow lacking the rich spice you expect from a proper madras.
The Kashmiri Pulao was just as disappointing — nothing like the authentic Northern Indian cooking of any of my Indian friends or any other Indian restaurant I’ve been to. Even the “garlic” naan barely tasted of any garlic & was super thin for a naan. Certainly not brushed with fresh garlic and melted butter. The only positive was the friendly girl at the front desk when picking up the takeaway (& it’s in a nice enough building formerly a very popular Greek restaurant). So glad I tried this out by myself as it’s expensive which I don’t mind if the food is good but I would be even more upset if I’d taken the family here.
I know this sounds harsh but it was a total waste of money when there are very good Indian restaurants in the area that are a delight to enjoy takeaway from. I certainly won’t be ever giving it another try or keeping the “leftovers”.

We absolutely love this restaurant! We recently held a birthday celebration there, and the team went above and beyond to help us plan the event. The food was incredible—some of the best Indian cuisine we’ve ever had—and every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented.
The service and hospitality were exceptional, and all our guests were so impressed by the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. The venue itself is perfect for a small event—great vibe and beautifully set up. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Indian food and outstanding service!

Great Indian food. Quiet not too noisy which is nice. Atmosphere not bad either. Lights were a bit bright but they have paid attention to peoples comments and much less harsh on the eyes! Good food reasonable prices
