My parents were visiting and craving for Indian food. I heard good things about this place so I decided to check this place out.
We ordered chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, lamb korma, and of course garlic naan. We also got mango lassi as recommended by our friendly server. Once my parents tried mine, they were hooked and they each ordered one for themselves.
All of the 3 dishes were well executed, very flavorful, and distinctively different. Each has its own flavor profile. We all enjoyed it and left with big tummy and happy face 🙂
The staff are very professional.
Our server was very polite and had a smile that lit up the room.
I ordered the Coconut Curry with vegetables. It was so delicious. The coconut flavor highlighted the exotic Indian spices. My taste buds danced with every bite. I will be back any time I visit Kent!!!
The pistachio ice cream is so good…I thought I had died and went to heaven
My overall experience was one that I will never forget!
We were seated right away.
Music soft enough for conversation and loud enough to enjoy listening.
Ordered Non Vegitarian Dinner for 2.
EVERYTHING Was delicious in flavor and cooked well.
Our server was knowledgeable and happy to help support my Gluten-free dietary needs.
Dishes tried: Malai Kofta, Chicken Rogan Josh, Dal Tadka, Tandoori Roti, Butter Naan, Gulab Jamun, Ras Malai, Pista Ice Cream, Mango Ice Cream.
Verdict:
• The Chicken Rogan Josh is an absolute must-try—perfectly balanced with spice and tang, full of depth and flavor.
• The Malai Kofta was flavorful but surprisingly spicy, which is a bit unusual for this typically mild, creamy dish.
• Dal Tadka had a nice taste but leaned heavily on the heat; dialing it down a notch would allow the flavors to shine more.
• The Tandoori Roti was crisp and well-made, a solid complement to the curries.
• The true standouts were the desserts—rich, nostalgic, and delicious. The ice creams and Gulab Jamun in particular transported me straight back to India.
Service was exceptionally quick, and the staff were warm, attentive, and generous—our server even treated us to complimentary desserts. The ambience, with its touches of Indian historical architecture, added to the overall experience.
Must Try: Chicken Rogan Josh, Gulab Jamun, Mango Ice Cream, Pista Ice Cream.
An excellent choice for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors with great hospitality to match.
The Gobi Manchurian is like added the fried gobi in tomato ketchup base gravy. It tastes okay.
Samosa Chaat is too sweet. I think they added more sweet chutney on it. So, it is also okay for us.
Malai Kofta is rich in flavours and you have to try it once
Saag Panner and Karahi Panner are also okay in taste. They need more flavours and spices.
Butter naan are soft and fresh.
Overall, the food is okay. You can try once.
And one of the ladies who took our order and served us was unfriendly.
