He got training from one of the finest five-star restaurants in Goa, India with a well trained Chef. With all the experiences and training he started the journey of Chef from Spice and Curry in Madison, WI. He worked at Finest Indian Restaurants as an executive chef for 5yrs in Chicago. With an interest in fast food chain restaurants, he also got to work in a multi-location Indian Fast casual restaurant as Executive corporate chef for 5 years. After 10 years of leading the kitchen of Indian restaurants, chef Tirtha ventured out on his own and founded indie culinaire. He created his own recipe for fresh homemade

The food was very delicious. We had tandoori platter, lamb rogan josh (not in the picture) and chicken biryani. And we enjoyed the taste of everything. The servers were very kind and considerate. Service was nice.

We stopped into Maharaj for the first time and were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, perfect for a quiet evening out. Our waiter, Mohan, was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking time to answer questions and offer great recommendations. Every dish we tried was full of rich, authentic flavor. You can really taste the care in the cooking.

I had discovered the Maharaj Grill in downtown Chicago and ate there twice. The food was some of the best Indian food I had eaten. Then I saw that there was one not too far away. So we had dinner here tonight. This place delivered the same awesome dishes as the one in Chicago. We had garlic naan, tandoori chicken, and lamb biryani. All were amazing.
Our waiter was Kennedy, and he was so kind. His service was perfect. I noticed how patient and helpful he was with another table that had a lot of questions. Thanks for the excellent service, Kennedy!

Really good food, we got 2 of the chef specials for 2 and it was more than enough food, gives you a little of everything and the flavors were on point. Nice decor, the waiters were super nice. All around great experience.

Seriously, one of the best Indian food places I’ve been to near the area. The food is amazing, but the hospitality is even better . Mohan was our server and he was so great and hospitable and kind. Would definitely recommend for special occasions or if you’re just craving good Indian food. We’ll definitely be back again.

I absolutely loved their kebabs! The butter chicken and mutton curry were exceptional, especially paired with the butter naan. The tandoori chicken and mutton seekh kebab truly stood out as the stars of the meal. I finished with their delightful Rasmalai, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming.

Our waiter Mohan was fantastic! The food their was amazing I will definitely be back!! Get their lamb Tikka massala and garlic Naan, their rice pudding (forgot the specific menu name) too, it was all so good you won’t regret it!
