The food was pretty decent. Their apps – fried okra, paneer pakoda, chat were decent. The chicken biryani was decent but not the best I’ve had. The chicken Tikka masala was average. The garlic naan could’ve had more garlic on it. We were a good group of 12 people so we had to be mild on our spice levels. For an Indian wanting Indian food, this was a pretty decent place with good food. If I come here again when visiting Chicago, I’ll ask for a higher level of spice.

It’s an authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of downtown. They have food with different spice levels so you can always customize it to your liking. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It’s a good place for a big group or a couple. The ambiance is great, some of the seats are actually the Indian beds that you can sit on. The place is usually crowded as the food is really good. You can make reservations if needed but we just walked in. They have vegetarian options. The food is also halal I believe. I love the complimentary papad, it’s very crispy. You can even ask them to add chaat masala to it.

Wow, here’s my new favorite Indian restaurant! Utterly delicious (and perfectly priced) food, transportive, atmospheric interior and attentive as heck staff! I loved this meal. The lunch express is such an incredible value with enormous portions. For a lunch in the Loop, you can’t beat it!

We have ordered chicken chilli and aloo tikki chaat with samosa both are taste very good. In main course ordered Malai kofta & naan and taste wise both very good. Specially I like spice level whatever we told level was same. Price wise also reasonable as per downtown.

Great Indian restaurant located in the heart of Chicago. We called ahead and made a reservation for 9 pm. Upon arriving, we were seated promptly. Service was good, food was excellent. The owner even came to check on us afterwards to make sure we had a pleasant experience. We are from Texas, but will definitely come back when we visit Chicago in the future. Thank you!

Highly recommended if you like indian food. Authentic taste and value for money. Service is very good , special attention to every table . Just on point – Servicing size of veggie lunch combos are sufficient for two people and it is value of money. We went for 4 times for our 7 days stay in town.

This place was great! We had gluten free and vegan eaters and found something for everyone here. I ordered off menu, my favorite dish, chicken Korma and didn’t love it, but the Butter Chicken was fantastic and I’ll stick with their menu bests next time.

We visited this restaurant right at the time of closure, but still they were kind enough to let us in. The restaurant has ample dining space. The Biriyani we ordered was more than enough for two people. Naans were good as well. The food was not as spicy as we expected, but tasty. The prices were reasonable as well. The staff was polite & the service was good.

Great ambiance. Kathiavadi, Indian style char pai seating. Loved the music in the background. Staff is super attentive, very friendly, courteous, and has excellent services. Food taste was definitely above average and satisfying. However, for a veg combo for $12.95, the given quantity of the dal and Paneer subji was definitely less. If they improve quantity for the price, I would give them 5 stars. For $13, you can get an unlimited Indian buffet at places. So comparatively bit costlier. Otherwise definitely recommend visiting. Mango Lassi was superb.
