Such a hearty meal! All this for just $20 — bring your appetite. Both the beef and chicken were amazing (I liked the beef a little more). The rice is a bit bland, but that’s exactly what the gravy is for. The mac salad was delightful. Overall, it’s definitely not something you should eat every day, but it’s the perfect go-to for a soul-hearty meal.

I ordered through Uber Eats, and wow—this did not disappoint! The pork dinner with cabbage and mac & cheese was absolutely delicious, and I also tried the gyoza, which was just as good. Everything tasted so fresh and homemade—it honestly blew me away. I can’t wait to order again!

This might just be my new favorite restaurant! I loved everything I ate so much that I had to order extra to take home. I went with the short rib platter, a side of garlic shrimp, and the spam musubi—don’t forget to get a side of that delicious teriyaki sauce! The pasta salad was incredible and paired perfectly with the short ribs, which were tender and seasoned just right.
The garlic shrimp were finger-licking good and seriously addictive. It was the ultimate comfort meal, and I’m so happy Philly finally has good Hawaiian food—something we definitely needed!
On top of the amazing food, the service was fantastic, and I felt so welcomed. I absolutely love it here!

Are you hungry? I hope so because Mahalo’s platters are huge! I got the bbq chicken and shredded pork and it was amazing. (The pork could use a little sauce of some kind)
I will be coming back here to try EVERYTHING!
Edit: Came back the next day (11/9/24) to try the Chicken Katsu and BBQ Short Ribs. Both were a delight! At this rate I’m gonna try there whole menu before the end of the month.

I have been consistently going to mahalo ever since they opened, and every time they deliver delicious food with mighty portions that I can easily eat for two meals. The bbq mix and chicken combo are items that I highly recommend that you can’t go wrong with, and don’t forget to pair it with a Hawaiian Sun (Green Tea Lychee is the perfect flavor). The service is amazing and friendly and I honesty wish nothing but growing success for this family business.

Very happy a new place opened nearby. I got the chicken combo and it came out to a little over $14, but they give very generous portion and it’s enough to split into two meals. They also have smaller portions you can order if you wanted. Food was delicious and the katsu was still crispy by the time I got home to eat it. Inside the store was very clean and had a lot of seating available. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
