I recently visited Maguro’s Brothers and had an excellent experience. The sashimi platter was top-notch, with incredibly fresh fish and generous, thick slices. The quality and quantity of the fish were outstanding, and the price was reasonable. I also tried a combination that included both sashimi and poke, and the sushi rice was delicious. Even after refrigerating the leftovers, the rice remained soft and tasty. I also ordered scallops, Uni and salmon roe on the side.
I’m not the fan of octopus in the sashimi platter.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I’ll definitely be returning!

Some of the freshest fish you can find in Waikiki! This place gets super busy, so the wait to order along with waiting for your food does take a bit, but it is definitely worth it. We got the chuutoro chirashi donburi, which had five different types of incredibly fresh sashimi. Every piece melted in my mouth and was so rich. The fish was laid on top of nicely seasoned sushi rice. If you’re in the search of a satisfying seafood meal, come to Maguro Brothers!

Different than traditional poke places; qualify of the fish is outstanding.
We ordered spicy mayo poke and Hawaiian lumi poke, over delicious rice.
However, i wished i could add some of the condiments for free like in other places.
I am used to adding all extra stuff and this place only offers sauces and ginger wasabi, fried onions and soy sauce.
Overall good but left with wanting more flavors like I am used to at the regular poke places.
If you want to customize it, this place is NOT for you.
Their sashimi and fish looked fresh and yummy.

We have been visiting Maguro Brothers since they were at their old location. The fish here is the freshest compared to the other poke and sashimi places along the strip. Much better compared to Foodland too. The seasoning on the fish is also spectacular. During our last trip here, we came back three times.
Our favourite is the hamachi wasabi poke.

In a basement of a building. The shop looks very busy but clean. Lots of options on fish and sauce. Overall, everything we tried were pretty decent. If you are staying near Waikiki, this probably the best poke place to go. Don’t waste your money on the Uni. The picture I posted is actually 2 orders. So little uni for what you’re paying.

Decided to check this place out after hearing good reviews and it did not disappoint! The line can get long so make sure to get there early. I got there around 4:45 (they open at 5) and there were maybe 10 people in line already but it moved pretty quickly. The quality of the fish was very fresh and reasonably priced!

I’ve tried quite a few poke bowl spots in Hawaii, but the quality of the tuna here is on another level — absolutely outstanding.

this place is in a food plaza. the line is always super long but that’s because it is good! we got the 20 piece sushi for a good price. the octopus was a bit on the chewy side. but the rest of the sushi was amazing. we went another time and got the 40 piece

Service and atmosphere – self order via website and the chef prepares your order from there. Sit on the dining area outside. It is a bit contactless and more electronic transaction. More like a food hall so plenty of seats with other people ordering from other restaurants..l
Food – Veryyyyy goood poke – got the hawaiian limu ahi 3/4 lb container. Some salt to go with the fish that brings out even more of the fish. It can get salty at times so it probably pairs better with some rice too. (Coffee not from Maguro Bros).

I got the combo with salmon and ahi, with the rainbow and ponzu on top. It was super good!! The ahi was some of the most tender and melt in your mouth fish – however, I think the price and portion isn’t really justified. The medium is $12 but it’s pretty small and barely counts as an actual full meal. On top of that, Every topping costs extra and ranges from 75 cents to 2 dollars.
Also, they forgot my tobiko which was an added $2.
