Stopped on our way through on a roadtrip and it didn’t disappoint! It was really steady for a Tuesday night but the service was great and the food (especially the cheese cake) was tasty and incredibly affordable!
Wait staff was very sweet, food came out fast, and the owner was even there and introducing himself to everyone.
Atmosphere was nice and you can tell it is very loved by the locals! If we ever go through Lafayette again we would definitely make it a point to stop there.

The Detroit style pizza is the best! The pizza I ordered on 1/23/26 was on point! The pizza was a sausage, bacon, and pineapple delight. The wings are also delicious

I recently visited Magoo’s Pub and Pizza and tried their ultra thin, Chicago-style, and Detroit-style pizzas. The ultra thin pizza was good with a nice crisp, but the Chicago-style took it up a notch with its delicious deep-dish flavor. However, the Detroit-style pizza stole the show—hands down the best of the three with its perfect crust and toppings. The service was excellent, and the place was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Great local place to grab a pie. No fryers and they still provide great food. Bread sticks and pepperoni bread sticks are really good. Pizza is very good too. Still have to try Detroit and Deep dish.

Good food at good prices. A slight ding in service because the table to server ratio is a bit high. They do really do work hard and try the best they can.
Maybe enclose the outdoor area to justify additional servers.

The service here is adequate and welcoming. The food is very good. For pizza in Lafayette Magoo’s is the best. The cheese they use is very good the sauce is where it’s a bit weak but the crust brings it together. As well the price is very reasonable. For a large one topping you pay 16 bucks that’s pretty cheap compared to other pizza places around here especially chains that cost more for less. If you want a good pizza just go to Magoo’s you won’t regret it.

Fine bar across from Lefty’s on the Northside! This place is known for pizza- and they deliver. Staff knows their stuff, there is a patio for smoking, and the clientele is salt of the Earth. Got a calzone on this visit and loved it!
