Social Profile:

As Chef Chip Dunham puts it, “a country brasserie can be defined as an informal restaurant where creative and rustic dishes from countries around the world are served—all while staying loyal to our French technique, using seasonal and local ingredients where it makes sense.” The menu will also be strongly influenced by Chip’s experience in southern kitchens. With a large brick patio, 17 seats at the bar and 49 seats in the dining room, Magnolia & May will offer a smaller, more casual setting. The wine, beer and cocktail menus will be created and overseen by Amanda Dunham. Her palate, creativity and experience will culminate in a diverse selection of libations for guests to enjoy. Amanda will also oversee a pithy and smart service staff

We decided to try this place after seeing positive reviews. The restaurant was clean and our server was great. For a starter we had buffalo broccoli which was good. We didn’t care for either of our entrees. I had the French toast & fried chicken. Maybe it is just a personal preference but I didn’t care for the flavor profile which was citrusy and savory. The flavors were just clashing and doing too much. If it had been served with maple syrup I likely would have enjoyed it more. The burger was not great. For the price point we felt disappointed.

Magnolia & May absolutely nailed the Magnolia & Mistletoe Christmas pop-up! The whole place was super fun and festive — from the cheerful holiday music to all the adorable decorations that made it feel extra magical. The food and drinks were amazing (seriously, delicious!), and the service was awesome from start to finish. Such a great spot to get into the Christmas spirit. Highly recommend!

Found this cute little restaurant while looking for some lunch and I’m so glad I did. It was super cute on the inside. My server Mary was amazing, she was so nice and attentive and recommended so many yummy dishes. I tried the buffalo broccoli and it did not disappoint. Definitely will be back!

The cutest little restaurant with the freshest food! The sourdough and ricotta was *chefs kiss*. The blackberries were so fresh. The service from the server and the manager were top notch. Not to mention the fantastic drinks from the bar! 10/10 recommend!! I will be back to try dinner and brunch!!

Cute and cozy! This is a house that has been transformed into a restaurant. Being this was my first time dining here I wasn’t sure what to expect. The customer service was on point. I love when the waiter/ waitress seems to enjoy telling you about the dishes. This lady said she ate there often. Everyone I dined with loved their meal. They make their own English muffins and sausage. I will return.

An exceptional dining experience that perfectly balances elevated Southern comfort with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the dishes feel refined yet soulful. It has an unintimidating ambiance: cozy and casual— but with no shortage of impressively sophisticated flavor.

Very cute and fun environment. Food was good. The broccoli and bacon dip was delicious. The fried “green” tomatoes were okay. Shrimp and grits were good.
The service was solid, all the servers were attentive. Parking is annoying but available across the street.

Me and my wife went for brunch. The food was tasteless. The drinks were good . I only gave a 2 star because our waitress was good but the bad food over shadowed the good service.

This place didn’t live up to the expectations. We got a mimosa pitcher. The pimento cheese board was good. I got a chicken sandwich. There was little to no chicken in it and it had no taste. The service was good.Although the waitress forgot to bring the drink we ordered, she put it on the house to make up for the delay.

Wonderful vibe, and the inside is currently decorated for Halloween which is SO CUTE being that it’s October. Loving the “Wicked” themed cocktails, super fun. The fried chicken and french toast were incredible . The buffalo broccoli was amazing. I was indecisive about trying it at first but then was so glad I ordered it. Management, servers, and the cook all make such a wonderful team and it was an experience I’d love to introduce to others like my family and friends. Will be back for sure!
