What a great place! The food was super tasty and there was plenty of it. The atmosphere was beautiful, unique, and really romantic. Perfect for a date night or a nice dinner with your partner. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and our waiter was awesome, really chill and kind. For dessert, I had the mint chocolate mousse cake, and it was absolutely heavenly. The live piano music from the older gentleman made the whole evening feel extra special. Such a lovely and memorable experience. Totally recommend!

We were served by an excellent server named Kim. She provided us with such an amazing experience. She was extremely kind and we loved her recommendations. We ordered the crab claws, oysters Rockefeller, crab cakes with Alfredo, and the prime rib. The oysters were okay. The rest? AMAZING. This food is so worth the price and everything was so flavorful.

I’d like to start by saying the food was absolutely amazing! I was a bit concerned at first when I noticed there were no vegetarian options listed on the dinner menu, but our server went above and beyond by speaking with the chef, who graciously prepared a custom vegetable lasagna for me — and it was delicious.

Our party of five all thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The portions were generous, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the history of the building added such a unique charm to the dining experience.

However, the only downside to our visit was discovering that the server wrote in her own 20% gratuity without informing us. There was no signage or note on the menu stating that gratuity would be automatically added for a party of five, which felt a bit presumptive. Ironically, we had planned to leave a 30% tip because the service, food, and overall experience were exceptional.

While this situation was disappointing, it doesn’t take away from the quality of the food or the great service we received. I just believe transparency is important and that customers should be informed upfront if gratuity will be automatically included.

OUTSTANDING dining experience! Everything was exceptional….ham and black bean soup to begin and I had the crab cakes over fettuccine w shrimp cream sauce and my friend had manicotti with meat sauce, lemoncello cake, flourless chocolate cake, coffee and everything was a 10/10!!
Piano player was very talented and set a very relaxed mood.

We were at this restaurant tonight. It was a prepaid package meal. To say it was disappointing is understating it. We arrived about 4:45. The sign said they were closed. Our friend went up to the door and was told to come back at 5 which we did. The rest of our group was already seated and wondered where we were. We were seated far away from the entertainment. We could not hear it at first due to some music playing on the overhead speaker. It was quite cold where we were and we asked that the overhead fan be turned off. The waitress said it could not be turned off then another lady came and somehow was able turn it off. For the price of the food it was disappointing> My husband and I had the prime rib. At least half was fat and grizzle. When I mentioned it to the waitress she said “That’s how prime rib is.” There was no bread on the table or offered even though there was butter on the table. A young boy came to take dessert orders. He did not mention that dessert and tea or coffee were not included. I ordered tea and asked for milk for the tea. I was told there was no milk. We would not have ordered dessert if we had known it was not included. On the way out a lady asked if we enjoyed the meal. I mentioned to her that it would have been nice had they informed us that dessert, tea and coffee were not included. Especially since I got a mug with a tea bag and no milk. The lady said they inform you when you place your reservation that dessert and coffee were not included. They did not I told here. She said you are paying for the entertainment but where we sat it might as well have been on a radio as we could not see anything. With automatic gratuity it brought the tab to $200 per couple. We feel it wasn’t worth it and there are better places for this kind of money.

We brought our family to this beautiful and nostalgic restaurant. Its a Sears catalog home from 1918 turned in the a restaurant. It still has the home feeling. Every time I have come here I have been presently suprised with the service and food.
We had Fish over Etouffe,
Chicken Picada, and Scallops Fettuccine Alfredo. All EXCELLENT. Thank you

Came in on a Tuesday afternoon, and promptly taken to a table. The atmosphere is cozy, bright, and quaint. I was pleasantly surprised to have a table, right next to a fireplace! The tablecloths and cloth napkins, added a nice touch. Cathy our server, was fantastic! Her friendliness and knowledge of all the menu items and daily specials, made our dining experience top notch! Our IPA, & Blue Moon beers, were frosty cold! The French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had, and the food portions are huge! The Red beans and rice has the perfect amount of seasoning and has ample amounts of sausage. The Alfredo pasta was creamy with a tasty crab cake and loads of shrimp! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant, for anyone looking for a delicious meal with lovely service!

Today was a great dining experience for lunch! The restaurant is in an older house and very unique with many interesting displays. We were seated in the enclosed porch area where it was quiet and peaceful. Our server was excellent and very friendly.

The food was top tier quality, presentation less beautiful and the taste was excellent! Probably the best food we’ve had since moving here over 3 years ago. If we’ve had better I have forgotten.

My husband had the lunch special, a fried blue crab sandwich served with fries and a choice of soup. He ordered the black bean soup. I ordered the seafood salad croissant sandwich (made in house) with fruit and a choice of soup. I had the pasta fagoli. This was from the lighter fare section on the menu, although my plate had very generous portions. We were both very pleased with our meal, they were delicious! Definitely a go to lunch spot for us.

Our server showed us a beautiful tray of desserts that looked delicious but we passed because we were too full. We looked at their dinner menu and will definitely try them for dinner soon.

Very nice restaurant, like you walked into house from the past that serves LARGE fancy portions & feels like someone is hosting a dinner party. Live keyboard player tonight (fantastic music choices, by the way). Amazing server & company. Definitely worth revisiting for the food & all the aforementioned reasons. For parties larger than 2, make a reservation. They fill up quickly!
