I rode my bike across the bridge and on my way back I stopped at Magic Wok. I ordered the beef lo mein, egg roll, and spring roll. I waited 15 minutes and was anxious to dig in because I was so hungry. The egg roll was soft and the inside of it was very soggy and soft. Clearly frozen egg roll. So i moved on to the spring roll, the spring rolls were very crunchy and fried perfectly – but the insides were soft and soggy. I am not a fan of any of the rolls. I then opened my beef lo mein and it looked very delicious but upon eating it, it tasted soggy. I am not sure how you can make fried noodles soggy without them being frozen. I will modt likely never eat here again, in fact I know for a fact I will never eat here again. 14.95 for a SMALL PINT of beef lo mein, one egg roll, 2 fried spring rolls. The people inside were very nice and helpful but the food was, to be honest, completely horrid and disgusting. I do not recommend eating here.

This is one of my favorite places to grab chinese. Been ordering from them for about 9 years. The couple that took over are nice, friendly, and their food is good. They deserve way more stars than their current rating. Please give it a try.

The first time I visited, the staff was nice. We ordered lo mein with wings, packed into four large clamshell plate combos to go, plus spring rolls and 2 bubble teas. That whole order was around $100 if I recall.

The next time we went, I ordered the same, but this time they gave me just one order of lo mein and wings, and spring rolls separately. Basically the same items but much smaller portions. They said they “don’t do combos,” which isn’t true because they clearly advertise them in the front of the restaurant and gave us it last time. This order came to about $60, which felt strange given how little we received compared to the first visit.

When I went back to ask why the portions and pricing were so different, the man backed the woman up and got snappy with me, like what?

I was a little worried after reading the reviews. I tried it with a nervous mood. It’s a very retro little shop. There are young people in the shop. I heard that the original owner retired. I came here a few more times later. The ingredients are very fresh. Every meal is delicious and super good.

Probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your money. I got a pepper steak. I promise you it was not beef. Totally disgusting I had to spit it out in the toilet. I can’t belive this place is open. The fried rice is yellow like Indian food. I never complain just threw my food away and….lesson learned!

NOW THIS is Chinese food all the American Chinese food tasted so cheap, but came here the first time because my co worker recommended it, and it was so good I couldn’t finish it because of how much portions it had, no Chinese place will ever top this I will forever go to this location y’all definitely deserve more than 2.3 stars

Do not eat here! I ordered the “Bourbon Chicken,” and when I got my food, the “bourbon chicken” looked nothing like chicken and did not taste like chicken at all. My wife ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, and same thing. The “chicken” tasted chewy and gummy and when I brought it up to the manager (see photo) she stated that this is “our bourbon chicken” and that “it’s different from other places. When I asked for my refund, she denied me my refund! She would not give me money back and said that “just because I didn’t like it, doesn’t mean I am entitled to a refund.” They did not have a “no refunds” sign or anything indicating that all sales are final and nothing that stated that the customer is not entitled to a refund. I don’t know what other reason you need other than “I didn’t like it” to get a refund. But I was robbed of my money and I didn’t even eat the food because it was completely disgusting. Whatever it was, it was NOT chicken. I left completely disgusted and unsatisfied. And they literally stole my money from me because the manager would not refund me! Do not eat here.

I ordered shrimp fried rice. 1st the meal was in a warm. The food had no flavor. There was some precooked shrimp and yellow rice. No bean sprouts. The woman took my money and went to the wok to cook my meal. No gloves or washing. Never again.

We’ve ordered take-out from this place a couple of times. The first time, there was a plastic wrapper INSIDE my eggroll. The food wasn’t too bad, so I decided to give them a 2nd chance. Today, there was a piece of plastic string inside another eggroll. What are they doing there? Never ordering from them again. Their boneless spare ribs are all fat. Sweet & sour chicken is always overcooked. The only thing decent there is the rice… and that should be a given for any Chinese restaurant.
