When I moved to Dover a few months ago I was worried I might not be able to find the quality of coffee drink or welcoming atmosphere that I was used to in a bigger city. Not to mention, I come from working at a small locally owned coffee startup myself for 3 years— I have high standards for my coffee experience.
Then I found Magic Mugs & knew it was my spot. Chloe, Derek & Sophie are the absolute dream team. They make high quality drinks and make you feel like you are coming home when you walk in the door. They remember you, they start conversations with you & they are always seeking to make the community a better place. The decor, original art and collection of books & games is just icing on the cake.

Cute little coffee shop located in the beautiful town of Dover! This was my first time visiting and felt so welcomed. Staff was kind and helpful and recommended their Mystical Carmel Macchiato which was fabulous. Highly recommend checking this place out when in Dover.

Such a cute, cozy, welcoming place in Dover. There are lots of fun things to do and excellent coffee. The new owners, Derek and Chloe, are wonderful people and the flex seating offers a comfortable space for everyone. I cannot recommend coming here enough. I’ll certainly be back every time I’m in town.

Barista was very nice. Atmosphere was clean and cozy. Way bigger inside than you would think. There was a kid playing video games on a tv they have in the lounge area. Pretty awesome that they make that available. The pour on my latte was a beautiful presentation. It is the little things when you are consuming premium coffee products. Prices weren’t much different than other coffe shops. Expect to pay at least 5 bucks. Their presentation sets them apart, so I hope they don’t lose that over time.

Friendly staff, great coffee, “beyond” groovy atmosphere- This place is simply a MUST try. I’ve had their matcha latte (iced) and an iced latte with their house made rose syrup- BOTH to die for!!!

I just stopped here on a whim while passing through and I was more than impressed. The latte was amazing and that’s just the half of it. The staff was top notch and friendly willing to take time to tell me about their business. The shop is perfectly clean and the service was prompt and friendly. Support this locally owned business. Next time you’re thinking of going to starbies just don’t – go here instead. I grew up in little ole Dover and I’m happy to see this amazing spot! I gave them 5 stars but they deserve 6! ☕️
