I ordered from Uber, so I could not get the issues with my meal corrected. I don’t eat pork so I requested no bacon on my potato. Potato came with bacon, but no butter or sour cream. I received no sauces and no utensils to eat with. A previous review stated the macaroni tasted like box.. that review was true. I should have listened. The food was not really good. I was very disappointed. I can not judge the atmosphere because I did not go to the restaurant, but as far as the food and service Trust the rating.

The food is disgusting I couldn’t even eat it.. the macaroni and cheese was like noodles with some slice cheese.. the yams were canned.. the cabbage never seen seasoning a day in their life.. I was able to eat the unseasoned fried chicken due to drowning it in hot sauce.. 0/10 do not recommend

I was at work craving fried chicken when my coworker said I have a spot for you and I promise you gone love it! She brought back 2 pieces of fried chicken and okra. Normally I take a picture for my reviews but sorry yall I tasted the okra and forgot all about a pic. The okra was cooked & seasoned just right. It was still hot I couldn’t eat it as fast as I wanted to, lol. Ok so let’s talk about this fried chicken. I had a breast and a thigh. When I say the breast was SO juicy I was truly impressed because most restaurants dry chicken breast out. As far as taste, my pallet was truly happy. It was seasoned with no need to add hot sauce or anything. I mean you can tell somebody granny taught them how to fry chicken like a scoop of butter was in the grease or the chicken was dipped in some buttermilk before it hit the flour in a paper brown sack. So YES, it’s definitely that home cooked fried chicken. I told my friend when they come in town I have a spot we have to go to. I was truly impressed and definitely recommend. Someone need to tell Food Network to add Magic City Grille to Guy’s Triple D. Next time I’ll try to remember to take food pics.

This is my second time ordering from there the breakfast is decent, but I ordered baked Chicken yams, butter, beans, cornbread, stuffing with gravy and macaroni and cheese, and it was horrible! Let me start by saying the chicken was dry like desert dry, I’m mad they use canned yams instead of fresh ones and canned butter beans bake mac & cheese taste like Kraft Deluxe mac & cheese With shredded cheese on top. Stuffing is bland with no meat and the gravy is thick like paste! If this is black Owned y’all need to do better Because you all know Southerners don’t eat canned beans or veggies? just wasted a good $18 on this place!

Just left Magic City Grille and ordered for the first time. I am HOOKED! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I went at around 11:30 for lunch. I got whiting fish, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The staff is so friendly. My special requests were followed perfectly. Good customer service is valued by me! I will definitely be back!

First time here, and they just told me I got to wait 25 mins for some canned greens. All the meats looks dried out, reheated or re-cooked. Waisted time and gas.

So, the meal was good. To the cooks, great work. The line workers were bland, appropriate. They’re youthful, so you expect vibrancy, smile, cheerful, come on like what you’re doing. It’s okay, I understand everyone doesn’t have a great day all the time, but generally smile with enthusiasm.
Overall, thanks for being open and thriving, the community need to have options to have a tasty meal; especially since cracker Barrell fell off in Bessemer. Y’all better keep improving & represent. You never know how far a delicious meal will take you! Prep your team for success! Food Network, Large commercial catering, event catering, it’s unlimited! I just wanted to spread some positivity!
