The food was amazing. Fried pickles were great. Crunchy and never got soggy,calamari was the best I’ve ever had. A nice light crispy batter and the calamari was very tender. The apple,brie quissadilla was very good also. Highly recommend

This place is like 2 minutes from my house so I decided to stop in for lunch. The server was intelligent and was able to tell me about the gluten free and dairy free options. I got a tuna salad wrap on a gluten free tortilla, potato salad, and a sprite for $20. It was so good. I was able to take part of it home because they are absolutely stuffed with tuna salad. The orange was a nice palate cleaner. I will bring my dad next time and we will have dinner.

I came to Port Charlotte for work and I have never been to this part of Florida and a friend suggested this restaurant. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with open arms, like I was part of the family. I had no clue what I was in the mood for. I was suggested a few items. The stuffed mushrooms as a starter and for an entree, I got the special, which was “Eggplant Rollatini”, and let me tell you something. It reminded me of grandmas Italian cooking from home. Absolutely phenomenal and flavorful. I could not eat it all and I’m excited for lunch tomorrow.
Very kind people, one of the owners, Jolene, I believe her name is, was so friendly and was so personable. One of her staff members, I think her name was Cheryl. She was so very nice and fun to have as a server. The other server, Carlos was very generous and helped everyone.
The cooks, the cooks, the cooks! My food was so good I needed the cooks to hear how amazing their food is. I had the pleasure of meeting Danny and Ricardo. These two in that kitchen, create art for your taste buds. I cannot wait to come back to Port Charlotte! This is my new spot!

Hands down our favorite restaurant. We go about once a week because the service is always excellent it’s family run and they all help each other out and they’re super nice but the food is incomparable and is always consistent.
Chicken Maderia is my favorite and my husband loves their chicken parm but he got prime rib tonight and he said it’s the best he’s ever eaten anywhere. If they have the chocolate mousse pie make room, it is worth it! Sadly they did not have it tonight.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new local place to try. He googled and discovered this place so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in they had live entertainment/ singer. People were up and dancing so was a great atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I had a glass of both the white and red sangria. The red was absolutely amazing. The food was very good as well. He had the chicken parm and I had the Friday fish n chips. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been meaning to try The Bistro for a few years. The food and service were wonderful! I had no idea that it recently changed hands and must commend Jackie and Jolene on how well they’re doing. I can’t wait to try more dishes from the rather extensive menu. Food, drinks, and friendliness are out of the world! We may even become regulars!!!
