My girlfriend suggested we order the $53/person dinner…2 appetizers, 2 salads, 4 entrees, 3 deserts (the butter cake is amazing) …we left with enough food for the next 3 days! Not a bad deal! (because we took the last reservation of the evening I think the food was already prepared and sitting, not freshly made, but it was still pretty good, so I did’nt complain, but you can taste the difference) Maggiano’s is a family-style Italian restaurant, with old-school, traditional decor, on the upscale side for a chain restaurant. Staff is always very professional. Food is consistently very good.

Khanh was one of the BEST waiters I have come across in a long time. He is very knowledgable about the dishes and offers. He was extremely pleasant and we did not have to wait for refills or wait long for him to come back around to see if all is well. Also, the food was delicious. Big portions and very tasteful. I would recommend this place 10/10. I will definitely be back.

We love Maggiano’s! We usually go for a special occasion. Today was my birthday. The food is delicious and a good portion. Needless to say, we brought home some leftovers. Our server Alex is the best. This is the second time he has served us.

The decor is very chain-like and simple. This particular location is pretty big.

Italian Chopped Salad
Chopped iceberg, tomatoes and crispy prosciutto with their house dressing. I was surprised at how tasty their house dressing is, not tangy at all. The prosciutto gave the salad a nice salty balance. Got the bleu cheese on the side cause that’s a yuck for me.
Calamari Fritté
Tentacle & ring portions, yes! The breading was a bit heavy but the flavor was good. Comes with marinara sauce for dipping. The portion is huge, even for 3 of us.
Chef KB’s Lobster Carbonara
They were out of lobster but substituted it with crab which was totally fine. The amount of crab was very generous. The pasta was cooked nicely and the cream sauce was tasty and not heavy. Came topped with fresh & crispy snap peas and bacon crumble. Delish! I wish I didn’t eat so much calamari and salad because I couldn’t finish it.
SERVICE:
Walked in without reservations at 6:45pm on a Monday and got seated immediately. The last booth we got was next to the kitchen so it was like watching a server’s marathon. Our server was great. Very friendly & professional. It was restaurant week in Philly so they were packed. All the servers were buzzing around the entire time.
OVERALL:
A totally nice surprise of a restaurant. The food was great, prices good for the portion received and got good service.

This is my second time going to Maggiano’s. I’ve been to the location in King of Prussia, as well. The food here was better and more fresh. I got the Maggiano salad and it was delicious. The pasta I had was great too. During Happy Hour they have a pretty decent deal for a meal and a good time. The Tiramisu (cake) was the highlight of the time spent at the restaurant. I enjoyed it! I will be back!!

Such a disappointment. The service was that of a fast food restaurant. I haven’t been to a Maggiano’s in years but the food was always good. Even that has changed. The restaurant was not crowded and the food came quickly. The zucchini fritte tasted like a frozen meal. My colleague’s eggplant parmigiana was dry. If there is nowhere else to go, then it’s fine but otherwise I’d go elsewhere.

Excellent place, very quiet, perfect for a quiet, relaxed, and private meal. The food was excellent, each and every dish. I ordered a Caesar salad and a lasagna. Excellent 10/10, but one detail that many restaurants don’t do these days, but Maggiano Little Italy does: they provide small, warm rolls as starters. Very good with small details that make a difference. I must also congratulate our waitress, Ana! Excellent work, and the management for keeping this restaurant in a warm and pleasant atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely visit them again.

Don’t walk, run to this place! Best food I’ve had in Philly in a long time. I got the filet and a side of spaghetti, it was amazing. The steak tender and was cooked to perfect the temp. We waited about 30 mins for a table and you do want to make reservations beforehand. The environment was warm and great presentation. I would recommend this place. Its pricey but is worth it. The bill for 2 people with drinks could be $130-150.
