This is a new Italian Restaurant in King. We had a meal there during their grand opening. The atmosphere is ok, an improvement from the former restaurant.
As you can see from the pic, the pour on the wine was skimpy. The gal behind the bar was not familiar with beers and told the patron next to us that she wasn’t much help because she doesn’t drink !
The bread served in a basket was dried out and not appetizing. We made suggestions and hope they listen to patrons because I really hope this succeeds. The Ravioli was good and presentation was very nice.
We will return and give Magdalenes another chance.

Brunch was good. Didn’t realize they only offered the buffet on Sunday mornings/lunch. Buffet was good. Had options of made to order omelets, pancakes, pastries, bacon, sausage, ham slices, eggs, biscuits and gravy, 2 pasta and 2 sauce options, salad bar, and soups. Drinks were included.
Overall it was good for a brunch buffet. Price was decent, service was good. Would like to give it a try again for the full menu.

The food was excellent and the server was attentive, but although the restaurant was not busy, it still took almost an hour just to get our food. The server could not find my wine in her computer and I ended up ordering something else. They still need to more efficiently handle service in the kitchen. A bit more time and training and things should be better.

Good. We have been there a few times before and been disappointed each time – slow, slow service, cold food in one instance the fish was still partially frozen . This time we were pleased. Server w as efficient and reasonably fast. Food I had a cob salad my wife had a grilled cheese with sweet potato fries. We hope Magdalenes succeeds and prospers.

The food was not good. They burnt the chicken and the noodles then tasted burnt. Some of the shrimp was raw yet. We ordered garlic bread sticks and after I handed them out to the kids the waitress took our marinara sauce so we couldn’t dip it. Our silverware was dirty and had to ask for new ones. Last we ask for refills and the waitress forgot and chatted with the other waitresses even getting a drink for herself. Very overpriced for what you get.

Server was very sweet and understanding of our issues with the dining experience we had. Food was over priced. $7 for one small plate of cheese bread that was not even broiled to a nice bubbly brown as it should be. My Italian grandmother-who had high expectations ordered fettuccini alfredo with shrimp, the dish came with only 4 pieces of shrimp for $18! Food was not hot just warm. Not fully authentic Italian. Not sure I will be back the prices are just too high and the quality does not match up to it. Unfortunate because we were very excited to have an Italian restaurant in town.

We went opening weekend, and it was rough. We had to leave after not getting a table for an hour and noticing the most of the people seated had not gotten food. We decided to try ot another day, with little apology and no explanation from the staff.
That said, our return trip, we re seated earlier than our reservation. The food was good, however both of our dishes had a incredible amount of large chunks of onion in the alfredo cream sauce (?) and marinara (some an inch square. She doesnt like onion, so she picked them out, there was easily half an onion in her red sauce.
I recognize some of the staff from when it was the Kings Table. The have done well to spruce up and make the place look Italian. Overall it wasn’t memorable but it was dinner.

My daughter is had the shrimp Alfredo, nastiest smelling and tasting shrimp any of us had to ever deal with. The chicken in the chicken Alfredo was way overcooked. You end up paying a premium price for mediocre food. The plus side was the server, she did an outstanding job!

Barb made the deserts for our wedding and they were incredible! She worked with us to come up with custom flavors: beautiful cupcakes and cheescakes that fit our vision. Magdalene’s delivered to our venue and it was so nice to be able to trust that everything would be just exactly as we wanted… As a side note..i would also highly recommend Magdalene’s signature cheesecake. We were able to try it at our tasting and it was superb!

Came for Sunday brunch:
Great service, we had Sydney and she was perfect
Great deserts, Salad/fruit bar, soups
Good variety
Hot food could use little work in regard to quality and lunch options but was still good.
Only negative -sausage patties were not good at only
Huge plus- brunch comes with drinks (not alcohol).
