You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Still ask for a tip though.
My pizza had no sauce. I mean none. It was zero flavorful, and when I left I felt like I had eaten a mouthful of just grease. I’ll do greasy, if it tastes good. This was like shoving a gob of grease down for nothing. I ate a slice and brought the rest home to reheat and add some sauce and maybe doctor it up with some spices to flavor the thing a bit. I doubt it’s salvageable, but I’ll give it a go.
Perhaps I should have opted for an empanada instead. At a pizza place. An empanada at a pizza place. Yeah that sounds weird to me as well.
Place was completely empty when we arrived and we actually asked if they were open before coming in. Now I see why.
The service (the gal who took our orders and brought them out) was fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Wish the product showed as much promise as she did. Eek. Place was cute but….NOPE.
Pizza was really good, I think any pizza here will be great. The lemon pepper wings were amazing, some of the best Ive had. Only complaint was the blue cheese, it didnt even taste like blue cheese.
Drinks were reasonably priced, good Moscato! The Gelato was good, not great but good enough. Great overall experience!
However, the service experience was a bit perplexing. With the register and bar being separate, customers are left to grab their own drinks without the assistance of servers. This unique setup could be improved for a more streamlined experience.
The decor strikes a balance between modern and classic, yet it feels somewhat mismatched for the lively atmosphere, especially with Bad Bunny and contemporary Hispanic reggaeton playing at top volume (strange for an Italian restaurant) .
In summary, I rate the food a solid 5/5 for its taste, but the service and vibe come in at a 2/5. If you’re after fantastic pizza, Magazzino Delle Pizza won’t disappoint, but be prepared for a unique service experience.
Magazzino Delle Pizza is an absolute gem! The pizzas are out of this world — cooked to perfection in their special ovens that give each bite a delicious, authentic flavor. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and finish off with one of their amazing ice creams. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is great, and every visit feels like a mini vacation to Italy. Highly recommended!
Also the service is great and the place is beautiful
We ordered Amanti della Carne. it was good, but later I realized I should have done half and half with another type.
The empanada was good too. I got the pork and jalapeños. It was very spicy, but still tasty.
