The food is excellent and portions are big. I was able take 1/2 my meal to go for dinner later. I got 2 star spicy and it was a little hot for me but I’m also kind of a baby with spice. Haha

It was my first time here today.. & let me tell you, the food is soo good!! I had the Tom Kha Coconut Soup with white steamed rice & it was amazing, it tasted very authentic! this is one of my favorite soups and I’ve had this at more than a few Thai Restaurants but this place was one of the best I’ve had.. everything was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant..

10/10 food is authentic!! So happy we found this place… our go to now! Super quick and the lunch specials have great selection. We got Pad Thai, Yellow curry & Pad See iew. Ik they just opened so the chairs are plastic party ones which can def be upgraded soon but no biggie.

So far I had the Drunken noodles and Pad Thai. Personally enjoyed both dishes at spice level 2. I can probably do spice level 3 fine. Looks like I found my Thai Restaurant for my fix!

Loved the food here!! It is a small but clean and cute restaurant the food is so good! I called in my order with no problem. The service is excellent! Very friendly and welcoming. We tried the larb salad, red and green curry, pad see ew noodle, curry puffs and we were not disappointed! The Curry puffs are a must try!!! I’ve never seen them at any other Thai place before, my all time favorite!!! I love quaint places like this! We will definitely be returning! It’s in a small shopping center so lots of parking is available. Lots of options on the menu and not overpriced. I look forward to trying the pineapple fried rice next time.

I randomly checked this place out when looking up nearby thai food places in the area and it’s definitely worth checking out! I always get the pad thai with chicken and it’s always been delicious every time. The service is fast and great! Definitely worth stopping by!

2nd time here, trying to look for this specific dish my Neice made and I believe I found it. So the first one I thought was it, I ordered Pad Thai, was not what I was looking for, it was ok, but not the dish I was looking for. Today I finally found it. lol. I forgot the name, the chef told me and I already forgot, by the way, the chef and her dad are so lovely and nice. I’ll be coming back during my daughter’s soccer practices again to have more of this. .

out of the Blue stop in and Boy was everything Very DELICIOUS!!!…All homestyle cooking …very full Flavors…had The Wok Eggplant with Chicken Super pleased also had fried egg rolls no meat in them But Still Very tasty…you can’t go wrong here!!!

I frequently get takeout here. I love Thai food and this restaurant is my favorite Thai place in San Diego. I have NOT been disappointed by anything on the menu, but I particularly recommend the pineapple fried rice with pork, and their curry with chicken. It’s a family owned business and they put devotion into each dish they make. Stop by, they will impress you with quick and caring service!

Great food. I don’t usually write review, but after a great experience here at Mae’s Thai Kitchen, I couldn’t wait to let the world know about this restaurant. The restaurant is in a very discreet location ( hole in a wall) . There are plenty plenty of parking spaces. Nothing fancy, the restaurant is clean and very relaxing place to enjoy a great meal and perfect environment for a nice conversation. The people here are very nice and kind. I am Asian and I enjoyed Thai’s food all over San Diego and Southern California and the food here is one of the best Thai food if not the best. Their price is very reasonable too. My wife is a chef and she is very particular about her food, but she loves it here. We highly recommend Mae’s Thai Kitchen .
